[COPIUM] Who has the best point diff in the division πŸ’ͺ

  1. This is the thing, we may not win the division, but if we can win the playoffs, we have played the top teams close. If we can figure out how to get out of our own way and gel at the right time, we might be able to surprise a lot of people.

  2. You say copium but point differential is legitimately one of the best predictors of success. I think we have all the pieces, we just need to put it together consistently.

  3. Bill Barnwell noted point differential today in his article on the Chiefs. This team in his opinion is probably slightly better than last years but the record is significantly worse.

  4. Statistically, this team is outperforming last year’s team in nearly every category. The lack of discipline and a stagnant offensive playbook have them out of the playoffs at this point, when they were 9-1 last year. Very frustrating.

  5. We forget we have been to 8 straight AFC championships since Mahomes showed up. 5 SBs, 3 wins. Couple of team’s key players are past their prime, and overall we need to rebuild properly. We got a good 2-3 years since Tyreek left, with bits and pieces but that’s only going to take us so far. We need some serious picks next season, otherwise we are not going to be any better.

  6. For reference, we’re 23 points from being undefeated… 0-5 in one score games is such a “law of averages” response to the historic run of success we had in the same type of games over the last couple of years.

  7. We’re definitely the best 5-5 team in the league. That and 2 dollars will get you a candy bar.

  8. I hold on to hope that the chargers and broncos choke and lose 4+ more games each while we win out the rest of the season πŸ˜‚

  9. We have only lost by a TD or less, with most losses by 3. We have won by at least 13, and by as much as 31, they haven’t scored under 17, and have a 26.1 average. This teams issues are almost entirely mental toughness, or lack thereof. In the past, if they had a bad game, bad half, bad quarter, or bad play, they put it behind them and focused on whats next. They aren’t doing that. Mahomes is pushing, the receivers are in their heads, dropping passes. They need to figure out how to fix their attitudes, and they will start to win.
