Gets the puck back and good positioning there from Cissone to intercept the centering pass. Now he’s hooked. Play goes on. Chance in front. Pater the save. Rebound center. Okconor skates the other way. Drew O’ Conor through the defense round the net. wanted the wraparound and a good defensive play by the veteran Marian. Canucks maintain control of the puck. Quinn Hughes teased it up. Meyers had to reach for it. Put it off the target. Now O’ Conor trying to pull it off the ends and he did. Babski thought he’d covered it, but it wound up free and O’ Conor was able to put it home to open the scoring. Okconor on the glove side. This is going to go D to D. His shots going to miss the net and come bouncing to the front after Okconor tried to dig it underneath Babroski. And as Sergey Babroski looks to his left, tries to bring it underneath himself. And Okconor pulls it away. Pulls it off the pad and into the net. He’s finding a way to get it past Goenders. Now the Conucks to the power play and they score. Jake to Brusk. Who else? What a pass by Kefir Sherwood and the Canucks connect to double the lead as they get another one from De Brusk with a man advantage. Open at the front of the net. This is off the faceoff. It’ll get back down low to Sherwood and he’s not telegraphing the pass. He’s looking up ice and instead zips it right to the front of the net. The Brusk on the doorstep and in. He finds McKenzie McKen who muscles the puck to the Florida blue line. Panthers the other way. Cox almost got caught with too many men as here’s a pass in front. Greer scores. Little mix up on the line change in the neutral zone and the Panthers are going to come flying in. Last pass there to Greer and he’s going to use the screen to get it past the blocker of Vetera. So the Canucks build a two nothing lead and then 36 seconds later Reinhardt trying to move it out and he does. Jones leading the way he’s got B twist with him centers the puck and reaching out was Tom Von deflected wide to the goal and then falling down was Samisk but he gets up to collect the puck gets a return pass at center and moves in on the left wing. Macki Samisk with a nice move gets in front and what a save by Patra. There’ll be a penalty here. Gets across and gets the glove up. Looks like half the net’s available, but he’s got that left hand up. And Samuskevich can’t believe it. What a stop this is right there. That’s a good interchange between the goalender and Myers, the defenseman. Panthers will give and go to the line. Jones to the net. Another penalty, but they score. And the power play goal ties the game at two. Jones just drives the middle lane, gets the puck back, controls it. Marcus Patterson couldn’t upend him enough. Get that puck off his stick. And once Jones got it back, he was able to sneak it underneath and through Peter right arm. Schwint has not returned by the way. So Florida’s down two forwards now for the time being. Here’s a chance moving across and they score on the rebound. Luke Cunning. They got the puck to the net and with Peter down and out faceoff loss and then it looks like the Conucks almost get this puck out and then the Florida Panthers take it to the net and battle there and Peter just got caught up with Person as Cunning gets his stick free. Person’s trying to help out defensively, but the puck squirts by him. And Cunning, who was able to win that face off and then get free at the last moment, knocks the pass. It’s just like a a rebirth since he came to this team. Here’s a chance in front and they score. Evan Rodriguez. Another quick strike from the Panthers and their lead is two as they’ve scored four in a row. And from Reinhardt to Rodriguez looking to his right leg sent back towards Eklad. He’ll put it behind the goal. Marsham again in a battle with Ratu. Here’s a pass to Londell. He scores. And it’s now five to2. Well, they’re a team that just so works works so well along the boards. And then when it’s put into a scoring area, Landell picks the far corner. didn’t need a lot of time off the stick in a hurry as the Conucks are just against Tampa Bay and they only mustered one goal there and it was a bit of a grind for them. Here come the Conucks with numbers to Vander Kane in on the right side centers. Patterson scores. Elias Patterson on a three-man rush. Hughes to Kane to Patterson and the Conucks have their third goal. Sherwood’s going to be able to move it up. And with Hughes given the speed from Kane moving it across to Person, Babroski just drops his stick. Couldn’t get over in time. Trying to get his right arm all the way up. Figured as it’s easier if he doesn’t have a goal stick in his hand to stretch out. But Person is on the ice with his three assist performance in this one. He is the first Canucks player to ever put up 10 assists in a span of broken up. Sherwood couldn’t move the puck out as Patterson has a chance and he’ll kick it to his stick and skate forward, make a nice move and feed across to Tom Beander. He makes an equally nice play to keeper Sherwood who’s in on the right wing. Centers the puck. Patterson scores. Elias Patterson with his second goal of the game as he backhanded that one off the post and in. And a minute 24 into the when Person slowed it down. They gave it to Vander who moves it off to the side and then Person drives into the zone. Gets the pass from Sherwood and tucks this under the bar. This is a bar down in backhand. Person assesses things, darts into a scoring zone and the backhand snapper. Tricky entries. Kucks got it in. Florida got it right back out. You’ve got to gain the zone with speed and drive it deep like this. Kane centered. Heronic scores. Three-way passing play moving in and Phil Heronic took the cross crease feed right up ice with it and with intention Kane there as he moves it to Son. Pardon me, Heronic who’s behind everybody on the Florida side. They don’t even see him come in. All eyes are on Cone on that pass. Babroski’s late to get to his left. Bennett can’t get by Von for hanging on to the puck. Oh, what a stop with the left toe. Peter robbed AJ Greer. Nikola loads up, shoots, tipped in. Sam Bennett. Some back and forth in this game. Florida’s not going away. There’s the deflection from Bennett. Yolander was near him but didn’t have his stick tied up to the blue line. Jones with room. Rot. Nice save by Peter off Sam Reinhardt. go. Just under a minute to go on the power play for HGY dishes off center. They score. Seth Jones tap right there cuz he knows he’s going to draw people at least the eyes towards him near the goal line. And with that, Seth Jones comes off the right side top of your screen. And that seam pass is right. You never know. Marian gets the puck off the draw though. And he’s got it. Forget the 4D chess thinking cuz Brad Marian just took that puck and put it in the middle. Kane knocked it back after Person dug in on that face off, but Marian jumped it and he’s got that lane sended down the ice. He’s been on quite the roll. Brad Marian Belunder off the draw. Tried to sh that chip fluttered through to Vosski who doesn’t want to cover it. He’ll let time expire here. And this wild and woolly affair in Sunrise.

Seth Jones scored twice to lead the Florida Panthers over the Vancouver Canucks in an 8-5 slugfest Monday night at Amerant Bank Arena.
