So the reason why people are saying fire bear is because this same shit happened last year with no improvement. They can not close games and just lost in essence 2 massive points in the wildcard standings because coach is unable to instill discipline in them

Choked. We had position of the pick with 10 seconds left and could easily done a board battle.
Let’s be real we need to score more goals. Veggie has bad moments tonight but he put us in a position to win. Not winning many regulation games with 2 goals on the board.
Also I have never been more mad at an offside in my life. The OT offside was just plain lazy and nearly cost them possession
Ton of calls not made, should’ve been on the powerplay when they scored that last second goal, but that’s no excuse for that overtime performance. Looked like the 13 and under club on the ice
All the more frustrating since it felt like 3rd period the guys were finally playing like the early season: aggressive, coordinated, and hungry. I’m not a goalie expert but it looked like Veggie was way too far out for both the tie goal and the overtime goal

what the hell was that? why was veg so out of position on those goals?
Why the hell would Sergie not step up on that 50/50 puck that then forced the 3 on 2 in overtime they scored on?! Take a chance!! Instead we’re content with “waiting” and we drop off, we need more authority out there, that was terrible to get a point stolen like that on the road, road W’s are huge and we let that one slip away right through our hands
Can we play the Sabers again?
It really sucks to keep losing to our own fuck ups rather than good plays by the opponent.. hope tomorrow is better against the sharks but even against the sharks I don’t know anymore in this slump
The angry thumbs are working hard tonight. It’s a disappointing win. Once that goal went in with 4 seconds left I knew the boys would lose. Worst part…in front of their moms :’(

Anyway, we played a solid game for most of it so I take it, I now go to bed and cry

Ultimately, the same team that went on a 7 game win streak is now on an absolute cold streak. If this doesn’t teach you to not get too high on the highs and low on the lows, I don’t know what will.
Yes, we have issues to address if we want to start winning games. Yes, there were some major mistakes that were made tonight. And yes, it feels like everyone should be fired or traded. But again, this exact same roster and staff looked like playoff contenders just a month ago.
I’m going to go and be unreasonably upset about a sports team losing. I advise all of us to go to sleep, be nice to each other in the comments and hope that tomorrow our team wakes up on the side of the bed they did a month ago.

In the 8 games in November so far, we’ve scored 3 or more goals in 2 of them, that ain’t gonna get it done
I cant justify staying up until 12:40 for these games right now. Play develops in front of Serg’s eyes and theres no attempt to stop it because Simashev isnt even with the play enough to help in case he cant, and Veg is way too aggressive for being surrounded in a 3 on 2 situation. Hardly anybody looks excited after they score, and it shows in their performance. But its better to go through this kinda shit now as opposed to a late season course-correction
