I mean, theres no doubt weve had an easy schedule.. not sure why this sub is playing the victim when people mention it. All they boys can do is keep taking care of business. If they can make it through to 11-2 and show out against the Bills again and the Ravens the week after then people are going to start getting a little spooked….
I watched that Buffalo game, and honestly, the insanity of the reaction for Allen startles me.
Yes, Allen did great…after completely crapping out and putting his team in a bad spot. That first interception – good grief. If Tampa had been focused and on task offensively, that would’ve been an entirely different game. Did he play well? For enough of the time, yes. Still, 2 interceptions and 63% passing demonstrates he wasn’t entirely on his game.
It was the same when the Pats played the Bucs. I don’t feel as though Maye had a wonderful game, but all the talking heads were expounding on the marvelous job he did. Seriously, when an NFL QB in 2025 throws at a 52% clip (not even!), he didn’t have the best game.
Give Allen his due, he’s a great QB. But even great QB’s have days where it’s kinda hit or miss – he managed to have both. Same with Maye, he’s showing that he can be a great QB, but that doesn’t mean he’s beyond criticism.
Still, he did help my son’s Fantasy team win, so there’s that…
The irony is Bills have the same exact schedule as us outside of 3 teams Chiefs, Texans and Eagles whereas we got Raiders, Titans and Giants and Chiefs and Texans are having mid years so far both 5-5
