How The Browns Botched Their QB Situation #ucss #browns #shedeur #clevelandbrowns #cleveland
the way that they botched this. They had two veterans on the roster and and the moment they took Dylan, yeah, we can say now there ain’t nothing there. And we thought at the time, yeah, I don’t understand it. There’s nothing there. Why they took spend a top 100 pick on a backup quarterback, I’m not going to defect. I have no idea why they did that. But at the time when they left the draft that night when they drove home in their cars that night, they had two veteran quarterbacks and a third round project quarterback that they could bring along slowly and develop because they had two veterans in front of them and they would probably revisit quarterback in the draft again next year. That was the plan when they left Berea. And then somebody slept on it overnight and suddenly Shador was brought in the next day, was drafted the next day and that was the grenade in the room. And now all the veterans are gone and you’re stuck with both of these rookies, neither one of which have looked great to this point. And you got half the season left you got to get through. It doesn’t make any sense the way that they’ve handled.
