Return of Panarin would you have said yes or not?

  1. I lived in Chicago when Panarin was there, he became my favorite player when he came to Columbus, and I wanted nothing but success for him in NY.  All that to say, absolutely not.

  2. That’s sort of like asking if you’d buy a car without saying what the price is. At his current $11.6M cap hit, probably not. But if his asking price is lower he’s still a solid offensive talent, why not. But it would also depend on the term, he’s 34 years old so I wouldn’t sign him for very many years.

  3. Not at that price and there are a couple of others Tuch, Rasmus, I’d try to get before him.

  4. If you are going to bring in a veteran player at a relatively high price then they better be a team guy and good for the locker room. I don’t get that vibe from Panarin (or Bob or Laine for that matter), so why tie up money that could be used for signing our own guys?
