Before anyone rails at me, I named my dog after Mo. I like the player just fine. I just seem to be more hung up on the mistakes he is making lately for some reason.
Weren’t they split up due to performance? Or was it to balance the rest of the D-line?

I love Mo and would love to see him step up his game physically and in the offensive zone. He has some tools that aren’t being used.
So glad Chariot isn’t paired with Mo at the moment. No idea why we still have him to be honest.
I’m shocked people’s eye test is saying Mo is having a down year. This is his best season easily so far. He’s been great in all three zones. Way more aggressive shooting the puck which is translating really well into advanced offense metrics.
What specifically are people seeing?
They are still young. As they grow together they will be a very good top pair. Now just need to add a long term LD, preferably more veteran, on that second pair.
Anton looks destined to play third pair RD. They have a few options for the LD third pair. They are close to being a good group.
These two are still very young and still have alot more growth left. I look forward to them improving and dominating the back end.
My opinion is soderblom should be back there too.
I watched Simon at a Grand Rapids game 2 years ago and it was shocking how much better he was than everyone on the ice lmao.
