Cowboys blog: “Cowboys officially have a massive Jonathan Mingo problem on their hands”

Basically the problem is that he sucks lol.
Who could’ve possibly seen that coming
We really scammed the cowboys then we used the pick on Etienne for no reason to make it a solid lose lose
You mean trading for him isn’t the reason Pickens and Lamb are performing well?

Taking our receivers from last year and turning them into our receivers this year plus two 4ths and a pick swap 5th is actually kinda nuts. I feel the receiver room last year to this year is roughly equal, but now with more picks.
Why weren’t we able to elevate guys like Jonathan Mingo, DJ Chark, Terrace Marshall Jr., Ihmir Smith-Marsette, Laviska Shenault, Ian Thomas, Hayden Hurst, or Michael Strachan? Some of these players have gone on to other teams and produced at a much higher level—so why couldn’t we unlock that here?
It’s amazing how bad this dude is with his athletic gifts.
The fact that they also wanted to draft Tet makes it all even better

I liked the Mingo pick at the time, but god damn he sucked ass
I don’t think this qualifies as massive. They are basically out a 4th rounder, but their WR room is stout with two #1s and a decent TE.
I think kicking the can on a good college prospect who struggled on a bad team is actually a good plan. They just overpaid for it.
