Kyler is often overlooked as one of the best two sport athletes. Dude was taken #1 overall and #9 overall in two professional drafts. That is insane.
I know it digs at weathers, but he’s been solid the last two seasons
Honestly, S-tier draft for the memes between Madrigal saying he could get to 3k hits, Kyler Murray playing football for a team jokingly referred to as the baseball team, and Jarred Kelenic giving us the Big Dumper nickname.
MLB draft it such a crap shoot
How is it possible that the draft can be this much of a crapshoot. The fact that there is only 1 all star showing from these top 10 picks is insane
Wow, the Phillies pick ended up actually making the majors and sticking around for a while.
Remember fans of crappy teams. Make sure you ship off all your best players to big market teams so you can tank your way into a franchise altering draft pick.
Damn, these posts are kinda depressing huh
Having watched a bunch of these “where are they now” top 10 draft videos, it’s crazy to see that the hit rate for an even serviceable MLB player is 10ish percent.
I guess #11 is where the real stars are.
This video is insanely negative and honestly pissed me off it’s so dumb.
Even making it to the majors is a huge accomplishment for a player. Becoming a starter is really the best you could ask for.
No matter how well a player is doing you’re focusing more on what they aren’t doing
The Mets traded Kelenic to Seattle for Edwin Diaz and Robinson Cano. Also, Madrigal got hurt in spring training 2025 and missed the entire season.
from the amount of surprise in these comments i’m guessing you guys don’t play OOTP?
I personally think all international players should have to enter the draft. It would make the draft much more fair instead of powerhouse teams being able to attract the best international talent.
I would do disgusting things for a boarderline starting caliber catcher.
I don’t think people realize how good the 2024 draft class is but they should after seeing all these lol
What an insane decision for the A’s to draft Kyler when there was zero chance he was going to play for them and they should have known that
Interesting that Carter Stewart, being picked that high, would choose to go to Japan instead of the minors. I don’t think I’ve ever seen that before. I guess it worked out for him, though.
