For as much hate as he gets Trotz really does know his stuff with talent evaluation. None of the guys he shipped out panned out except Fabbro who is replaceable anyway. Give me younger guys like Barron over Fabbro any day.
Still a LONG way to go with adding high end talent but he’s also assembled the deepest prospect pool they’ve had… ever?
Just has to work through shipping out the overpaid vets but the guy really does know what he’s doing. I really hope Martin over Hagens also pans out in his favor that will be a deal-breaker.

Can someone with more time than myself collect the receipts on this sub catastrophizing the Tomasino trade and begging for GMBT’s head on a plate? And then can we also remember this next time we ship out a guy that had ample time to solidify an NHL role and just couldn’t? Obviously there are sometimes you get burned, but oftentimes management just knows it’s not happening— and the ones that did go on to be successful may have needed a change of scenery to do so.
