Also FWIW, those wrestlers he were all doing the segment with are total pros who know how to protect each others bodies. Their whole job is to do this shit with avoiding getting hurt.
He’s a kid in the biggest city in perhaps the world. He had an incredible rise to popularity based on his gameplay. He’s recovering so obviously does not impact his gameplay, my take is as long as he’s not endangering himself or recovery then who cares. Even then he’s a grown man so can do what he wants, does not need our attention.
He looks to be hamming it up and supporting the local sports scene. This is a good thing to me.
He’s fine. He will be ready before expectations. Not playing this season anyway so why not have fun and live life in nyc in your early 20’s as a rising star.

Man social media really made it so the most dumb ass motherfuckers out there get a voice. Cam’s recovering fine and is having fun as a young kid in NYC. As long as he’s not doing anything that the team doc is saying he shouldn’t do he’ll be fine.
I can care less what he’s doing so long as he ain’t hurting anyone and he’s ready to go next year.

Dart and skat are doing exactly what you need to do to be successful in this city. Bring energy and enthusiasm, but really entrench yourself into the culture. Wearing a rangers jersey to the WWE event was def a choice.
When he got hurt, my first concern was about his physical health. My second concern was about his mental state during recovery. These are not people who handle lack of structure and inactivity well. For fuck’s sake, Michael Strahan retired and promptly got 3 jobs. Most of these former players working as coaches, analysts, or commentators have no need for money. But if they’re not feeling productive, they’ll lose their shit.
I would not be surprised if he’s keeping the exact same structure that he’s used to, but swapping practice for PT. Clearly, he’s come a long way since surgery, and that doesn’t happen by chance. That’s him busting his ass and actually doing all the things his PT and trainers tell him to do. And to keep that schedule, you also have off days. He’s finding things to do on his off days that aren’t actually dangerous or harmful for his recovery, and he’s enjoying them, as he should be.
He was probably wearing a walking boot so I’m sure there really wasn’t any real chance of set back with the injury. I broke my ankle years ago and the boot protects the hell out of it. I was going to the gym and bars all time in that damn boot.
Skat shouldn’t even have said anything. Acknowledging this crap keeps it in the cycle longer – and now it will be a larger story because “Skattebo replied…”
