That feeling when everyone else is playing but you weren’t picked

  1. Idk about anyone else but to me this is a confidence booster. No boot. obviously no running or anything but with the idea of it being a very low end strain I’m sure we can all breathe a little bit easier! And will allow him to get as much rest as possible heading into December

  2. He should train with the skyhook and gain weight; he’s not good enough yet. Watch his replays, for example, when he’s double-teamed, he needs to make better decisions.

  3. Yeah I think he’s relatively fine it definitely isn’t a serious thing but they’re being precautious about it. If this was another organization and if so many players didn’t suffer serious injuries after calf strains he’d probably be back in a week

  4. It’s like that one tiktoker put in his comedy skit. Nobody on the med staff or coaching staff would dare even take the chance at risking Victor. If he got injured further and it came out they knew, they would be ran out of town for hurting “the prince of San Antonio” 🤣

  5. They didn’t release more details, but hopefully it’s just a Grade 1 strain that the Spurs are just being super cautious about.

  6. I’m trying to see the silver lining here — he was playing some extended minutes as of late, and these weeks of rest will do him well come playoffs

  7. Hoping they are just being extremely cautious. Outside of the blood clot he’s been pretty durable. Even the first year when he rolled his ankle against the Rockets, he played the rest of the game just fine and I’m sure he could’ve kept playing. Same with this one. He looked fine the rest of the game and I’m not sure anyone even thought he was injured till the injury report

  8. No boot is HUGE. Please sit for 3-4 weeks and get it RIGHT. Rushing back from calf injures is how you tear Achilles.

  9. I trust the staff. I was bitter because I didn’t want him to risk ineligibility for accolades but at the end of the day, keep him healthy and get us the championship trophy at the pace that makes the most sense 🤜🤛

  10. Given his previous history with blood clots, that may be the reason for them being overly cautious. Calf injuries are known for causing clots and maybe they don’t want to take any chances after last year’s clot in his shoulder.
