>”I had a real up and down, emotional, night with him.”

The benefit of having him in there rebounding can’t be understated honestly, that’s the kind of game we usually get vastly out rebounded in and it takes away the number of possessions needed to close the deficit.
As for the shooting and defense, it was dicey at times but he’s coming into the part of the season where everyone is starting to catch their groove, so it’s especially tough coming off a major injury. I think you saw flashes of what he can add to the healthy lineup last night, and it’s exactly what’s needed.
The second worst part about injuries is when they come back they are both on a minutes restriction and also don’t have a feel for the game and are rusty. It sucks because it basically means we won’t get to see what PG can be this year for real until a couple weeks later.
If PG13 can come back and stay healthy I think he can still be a good rebounder, perimeter defender and a consistent three-point shooter. That is going to make this team better.
LMAO…this is some shit you’d say when you don’t really have anything else good to say
With him and Kelly on the floor we will have a top 5 defense mark my words
love VJ
I think he looked really good, aside from his shot not falling. He played within the flow and moved really well.
I was extremely discouraged. I don’t care that the shots weren’t going in it was exactly what kind of shots he was taking and I fucking called it and yall told me how fucking wrong I was. If you’re coming back from injury why wouldn’t you take the easiest shots bro. Dude wanted to be “the fucking man” and I have a feeling we have an entire team of that. And that DEFINITELY stems from coaching in addition to ego too. That’s just not a winning basketball formula in 2025

> “Pretty hard to judge,” Nick Nurse says of Jared McCain’s five minutes. “…Didn’t love the combination I threw him in there with.”
>Nurse says he considered going to McCain in the second half, but ended up riding Maxey/Edgecombe/Grimes for much of the rest of the way.
