It appears that developing the 2 rookies from this year and Missi will have to be the main focus. Then they have to consider one or more of the players making more than $30M as trade bait for picks to contenders at trade deadline of this offseason. Although Herb is off to slow start, they wouldn't get value in return. Trey should be held unless he demands to leave. In short, I'm not certain now what the best way to approach next season is without much in cap space and zero draft picks.

  1. That’s the fun part. Dumbass thought we were already good enough as we were.

Granted we will be getting Murray back next season assuming no setback.

The other ways we get better are trading Zion or other key players.

  2. Make everyone available but Fears and Queen, hope they develop into stars and add draftpicks.

  3. Yet people here say that because Queen is looking good, the trade was a good idea.

We have to blow up ship and build value for the older guys and develop the younger guys this season. We aren’t good enough to compete and tanking doesn’t mean shit when we’re just rewarding the Hawks for seeing through Joe Dumbass

  4. Completely abandon the idea that the team needs to be successful this season. Forget about any embarrassment of giving up a high lottery pick. That is already happening no matter what. Focus exclusively on three things:

    1. development of Fears and Queen

    2. enhancement/maintenance of the trade value of veterans (Zion, Trey, Herb, Jose)

    3. trading those veterans when the opportunity arises
