Shaedon Sharpe Future all star, first team all NBA confirmed
This is not a great thing unless Sharpe is producing like an All-NBA first-teamer. He’s turned it on of late, for sure
It’s great he’s getting a lot of looks this season. Hopefully the efficiency follows.
The least efficient of those other guys is Jaylen Brown with 58.7 TS%. Right now Sharpe is at 53.5%.
His 3pt % is still pretty damn ass but his putting up a respectable 22/5/2 on 43% from the field.
Not bad when you consider how poorly he started the season.
At least this season we’re finally gonna find out whether Shaedon is worth giving the keys to. Even if it doesn’t work out, the clarity after years of wondering will be worth it
If he can get more efficient (3P% is atrocious) then this is great, but super high usage and below league average TS% is a losing situation
This is less about Shaedon and much more about our roster construction and Scoots injury.

I’m just here to lament about our game being at 8pm PT tonight. Home sick & was praying for a 5pm so I could crash early. 8pm pacific time is insane.
Hope shae balls out bc I’m obviously still gonna watch.

Just means he is finishing All NBA.
If he builds on his November and keeps up that level, then I don’t care about his usage. We have so many offensive zeros that we need someone to step up.
If Shae ends the year averaging something crazy like 26/7/3, then keep the usage please
That doesn’t really say much besides how desperate the Blazers are for a go-to scorer.
Where are all the haters who wanted him in the G league??

He has his spots where he shoots them at a higher clip.
He should focus on shooting more from those spots.
It only just occurred to me that Shae-don-Sharpe is the same number of syllables as Mac-N-Cheese.
I knew we were desperate for Shae to become a superstar, but getting fired up about usage percentage? Good lord
I was told after 4 games he was trash and should be on the bench.
