Be Legendary

  1. I don’t get the Gabriel and Sanders hate on here. They’re currently our only chances to become anything and if they don’t, we likely draft a QB.

It was also never a question if Sanders would get time, everyone knew he would get time. Just support whoever’s out there

  2. Clearly a lot of people are not Browns fans and are just Sanders/Gabriel dick riders. I want the BROWNS to be good. If you’re happy that Sanders, who was drafted by this team, played bad then you are not a fan of the Browns.

  3. It’s only been one half so far, but yeah it wasn’t good. Hopefully he can improve if he starts more, but I’m not expecting much from him or DG this season.

  4. Well, he’s a fifth round rookie who got exactly zero reps with the first team, and got dropped in against a division rival, soooooo…

  5. He was bad, not trying to defend him, but are we really throwing this up here with such a small sample size?

The same can be said on the flip side about Mason Rudolph.

This data is irrelevant on Rudolph and Sanders until we get a bigger sample size from them.

Don’t understand why people so desperate to be fanboys over Gabriel and Sanders.

  6. I’ll be honest, I’d much rather see whatever Shedeur is going to do than anything Gabriel has to offer.

Also this graph is about as worthless as the penny nowadays. Mason Rudolph was the most efficient last week.

  7. Your stat depicts Shedeur as being awful. But any stat that also depicts Mason Rudolph as being the best is obviously flawed.

  8. Be fair.

He was the backup QB, thrust into his first regular season game action against a defense full of guys who can make seasoned QBs look bad. There’s a reason the Browns initially wanted to get through that game with Flacco before giving the kids a look.

I don’t think he’s The Guy. But, at least be fair. Let’s see what he can do with a full week of prep as QB1 before we decide he definitely stinks.

  9. Out offense as a whole sucks ass and the dude played for 1 half, his first time out there as a rookie. Like yes it was disappointing but come on. Give the dude a chance. We’ll get a better idea next week.

  10. I’m not even a Sanders fan and I have to say some of yalls hatred of him is just WEIRD. At least when we root for Gabriel to fail it’s because we know he ain’t got it…you’ve seen 20 snaps from Sanders…

  11. Way to troll a 5th rd rookie coming in second half of a game against a good rival defense and having not had a single practice snap with the first team all year. What’s your point?

  12. These are rookies cut them some slack goodness fan like this don’t make sense why pray for either of their downfall when they are here and want to be here to lift us out of being a poverty stricken franchise? Just go root for someone else.

  13. Thrown in against a world class defense and just lost starting LT.

    Yeah….a good evaluator.

    /s

  14. I root for both of them. Both seem like good guys and I don’t get the hate. I blame some of it on our media too. The afternoon show on the Fan has been a complete shit show when it comes to Sandwrs v Gabriel. Dillon hasn’t been great and shedeur looked rough but no QB has or will look good behind this offensive line.

  15. Cringe and weird, I’d say you should feel bad about yourself but clearly you already demonstrate that

  16. You’re telling us a rookie quarterback without any practice reps with starters was inefficient.

    Gasp!

That same quarterback was one dropped pass in the endzone away from winning the game.

  17. Browns fans are really insufferable. I guess you’ll keep increasing your qb count stat.

  18. He’s played one half of a game. Give the guy the same chance you gave Gabriel

  19. I support whoever is our QB except for Watson but Sanders needed more than 2 quarters. Technically they both need more time. I think we need to strap in for them to take someone at QB next year who most likely won’t work out if the past is any indication. .

  20. “Minimum 10 snaps” is quite the line to draw for comparison with other guys as a form of throwing shade.

Good grief can we not just be browns fans and root for the collective helmet?

  21. I’ll say this as a 26 year season ticket holder. I would never boo a Qb. But, there’s times that changes need to happen. Gabriel is just too short honestly, can’t see over the line. He’s not going to be a nfl starter after this year. It’s time to see what sanders can do. If he can’t improve then we have to draft a Qb with our first pick. That being said, the line sucks and our coaching sucks. So that’s not helping so we need to draft a bunch of offensive lineman and probably time to move on from Stephanski. It almost looks like he’s trying to get fired.

  22. I’m just gonna leave this here for all you people saying he only played a half…..

Mayfield played in his first NFL game in Week 3 against the New York Jets, replacing an injured Tyrod Taylor with the Browns down 14–0. Mayfield went 17 of 23, passing for 201 yards as the Browns came back and prevailed 21–17, ending their winless streak at 19 games.
