I know some people here hate Hollinger, but this franchise has serious issues at the top.
With Benson as the owner this franchise is going nowhere.
This will undoubtedly hinder the Pelicans ability to get any good player in FA without serious overpay, or a similar move via trade.
Rough times ahead imo.

Pelicans suck but Nets, Kings, Hornets, and a few other teams have issues that is currently lasting much much longer than the Pels. But I get it, headlines…rage….

The Kings since 2006 have finished above 9th 1 time. They peaked at 3rd and in 20 years only won 3 playoff games. Oh yeah, those 3 wins came in that one season.
This revisionist history is fucking horse shit and I’m sick of other teams getting a pass.
We’ve 5-tupled their playoff wins in that same timeframe.
Yeah we’re not fucking perfect but there’s clearly other teams more hapless than us in recent memory.
