This grand slam gave us two of the best memes of this season: Craig hitting the bullpen phone before Vaughn’s bomb was even out the field, and Trevor dancing as Vaughn went nuclear. FTC!!!

  1. Honestly that’s gotta be one of the coolest moments in all of baseball this year. The local boy done good who went to the team’s biggest rival for more money, the big-market cubs on the front foot but the brewers were on a streak, the cast-off first base prospect from the other Chicago team, the immortal gif – it has all the storylines and all the factors to be a legendary moment

    This team had confidence and attitude all year and just acted lost in the last 4 games. At least the last 3. Game one they had a bit of fight.
