NHL Highlights | Kraken vs. Red Wings | November 18, 2025

Only two teams in the East below 500. The
playoff percentage chance benchmark used to be Thanksgiving, but not this year. Everything
is so tight as we’re underway here as the Red Wings start with Finny and Coner and Kane. The
save made right off the bat by Telbot. Tested early. And here comes Kane on the wing for Comper.
Comper stops inside the Kraken line. puts it back to the line for Axel. Sandine Pelica ricocheted
wide. Sherro kept it in, but Seattle will clear to center for Schwarz with a lead pass for Chandler
Stevenson. And a save made there by Telbot. Cider into the skates of the binket. Then knocked
away from him. Then Cider forced the issue and away comes Lucas Raymond. Raymond on his backand
put it in front and a good save there by Dory. Detroit uh right off the hop with the defenseman
Cider joining the rush. Not a hard shot, but uh particularly dangerous maybe, but
according good position to make the save. He might have been trying to go far side to
Lark and Marchman laid one over. Didn’t work for Jordan Everly. And then Raymond couldn’t
get it into the zone. On the wing for Lark and he goes rink wide. It’s a first feed in
for Dria and a save made there by Joey Decor. Three consecutive multi-point games for him. Seven
on the season for Lucas Raymond. Talbot with the save there. It’s a loose puck though taken by
the big rig. Jamie Alexiaak 67 drove the net. Short side save by Telbot. So no icing there as
Evansson laid it back for Cider. A quick up for Van Remsteike in front for Cob off his foot and
a save made by Dor. Seattle in the midst of a change. Some room here for big Simon Edmonson.
Drops it back for Kane. Kane who will turn ahead for Larkin. 599 career points for
the Redwing Capital. Here’s Edmonson. Ahead for Larkin. Looked in front to
Brink. Save made. Comes back. Edmonson with it. Went in deep. Had a chance to
shoot but didn’t. Here’s Everly in his fifth season for all Seattle seasons.
Here’s Marchmond. And a save by Telbot. Veneers. Veneers goes wide with it in front.
Stopped by Tel and he’ll freeze that. Done to Stevenson. Stevenson finds Tolvin. A
blocked by Johansson, but Seattle keeps control. Tolvin and a wire one save by top of
loose puck and they score. Wide open is Everly on a feed. Beneers after the shot and Everly
with his eighth leads the team in shots. Well, it was a juicy rebound because it was a hot
potato for sure. on a one-time setup to the goalender’s left. The puck might have even
deflected off Johansson. No rebound and a nice little play by Beneers to set Everly
up to J. Knocked down at center by Everly and control is Seattle. Then a loose puck
near side brought in here by Marchman. It winds up in a two-on-one. Marchman right to
the net and a save and off to the corner. Arin moved one ahead for Cider on board to
Brinka. Here’s Raymond. Fires score. There you go. Lucas Raymond ties it up. This one
gets through and no one there to tap at home. All his. And this came after a really good
defensive read where Seattle for all purposes had a twoon one. Did this hit a defenseman
stick? Not sure. We’ll see later. Here’s the figuring it out. Edmonson 93 Debrink coming
back. Leave the shooter to the goalie. Good job by De Brinket. Right through his feet and
down the other way. And Larkin made a heck of a play coming out of his own zone. This hit
a stick. De Brink has seven points the past four now and 15 his past dozen for the second
star of the week in the NHL. Alex Debrinkle comes back here for Sandy scores. Redirected in
front. That might have been Danielson again. That could be his first National Hockey League goal
for Nate Danielson. Wa on the redirect. A shot that goes off your body. This thing went
into the net like a bullet. Holy. Right. That’s wide. Right off the shin pad and it
completely came in behind the goalender. off Apple. Yeah. Then Danielson. Whoa, baby. Two
goals in what a blink of an eye. Oh, off the right skate. Maybe 40 playing in his 14th NHL game. The
19-year-old. Here’s Danielson looking for He’s got one. Wow, he’s got two. Not because there was
anything wrong with the officiating or anything, but just a terrible, terrible bounce. And Nate
Danielson is Johnny on the spot to pick it up and make a move like Tage Thompson made five
nights ago against Buffalo or against Detroit for Buffalo. And Danielson gets number two and
the Red Wings have a twogoal lead. Wow. Well, the first four games he had no points in the
National Hockey League. In game number five, it took him less than three minutes. Challenging
the plays offside prior to the goal. Oh boy. Well, let’s back it up. That’s got to be all the
way over. That is That is a lot. Puck’s got to be all the way over. Oh boy. Oh my goodness. Look at
this guy. His skates are all the way over. This This is not good. After coach’s challenge review,
it was determined the play was offside. Therefore, we have no goal. Yeah, I had a feeling that’s
going to Yeah. Out along with Kane back in for Berkeley Ken. Taken by Johansson. Then he gets
checked. Stays with it. It came free. Seattle first on that puck. Back to the line for Evans.
Scores. Riker Evans let the shot go from the point with a crowd in front and we’re all even at two.
as you got a battle down below. It’s twoon two and the puck bounces off one of the Red Wings and
goes right to the Seattle players. They got back to the point. Look at the flex on that stick.
That thing there. There it is. Somebody right way out there deep in the slot. Change direction
there and it might have changed there. Yep. So, we’ll get different looks at it, but
doesn’t matter. It’s already in the back of the net and a it goes in deep here
for Ras in front. Knocked away for Vince Dunn and Seattle will bring it to center.
Oh boy. On the move and to the net. Oh, big collision there is I don’t know. I’d
have to I have to see this again. I don’t No, he he didn’t have any option. This guy
he’s got Edmonson on his back. I mean, I don’t know. Different angles
will give you different things, I guess. Sandine Pelican further back for
an onrushing Patrick King on the wing. A beautiful pass for Larkin. Larkin right to
the goal. Saved by the core. They jam away at it. Picked up here by Raymond. Back for
Sandine. Pull to Raymond. Raymond to Brinket. Sharp angle back in front. Deflected many plays.
Clear. Those are the kind of players that they were lamenting a couple of games ago, trying
to get too cute around the net. Just traffic the halfway point in this game. Raymond who
has a goal along with Danielson for Detroit. Pop covered by two Kraken. Danielson passes the
score to Emtt Penny. The rookies combined. Penny’s got his first point in 11 games and Danielson with
his first National Hockey League assist. Nicer shot by number 58. You see how this, look what
happens here. They got four guys, the white jersey stuck over here and Finny about 18 ft in front
of the net has got plenty of time to get served a cup of coffee, put in the cream and the sugar and
put it in the top corner. Wow, that was forever. But the Red Wings still with it. Lurin, a spinound
shot. This one high over the glove of Decord in behind the net for Larkin as the Red Wings are
in the midst of a change in front. Big stop, rebound, another stop. Two in a row on De Brink.
Dodge a bullet there, boy. And what a couple of possible game-saving saves right there. Holy
smoke. Back to back on Alex Debrink. Got his own rebound. Not much on it, but nonetheless,
danger of scoring chances. That went wide. Solen and Tel. Big stop. Yeah, this is
communication boy in your own end. But again, quick hustle right there. There’s not much that
Sanade Pelican can do about that. Somebody’s got to warn him. Now what a game saver
that knocked that one down. It comes for Rasmusen. Perfect feed for Cop. Want to gain
center. Cop does that empty net in his face. Cop goes wide with it. Cop fires it. Hit the
goal post. Cop’s got it again though. Andrew Cop with the chance. His lone goal this season
is an empty netter. Looked for a second but off the outside. Wrapped in by the rookie captain.
Empty net for Seattle. Shot from Dunn. Knocked down to Brinket. Larkin for the empty net
and scores. Dylan Lurin. Point number 600. And it seals a victory. and Todd McMullen himself
talked to the offensive guys and then they hit a contract on the ice at the dot just outside
the blue line of Seattle about how they were supposed to play the last minute and boy did
they lock that down good. The Red Wings now with a 4-2 victory are in first place in the Atlantic
Division at the quarter pole of the NHL season.

  1. Talbot was solid again, saved himself from that errant puck handling from the back of the net (unlike him) does a great job handling rebounds kinda like a pillow when it hits him, happy for the youngsters👏🏼👏🏼,where is the snide comments about finnie from the finnie hater!!!😢

  2. Nice seeing my home team defeating one of the newest teams in the NHL.
Next, I want to see Detroit take on ( and defeat ) the Golden Knights and the Mammoth.👍🏒
