NHL Highlights | Maple Leafs vs. Blues | November 18, 2025
Blues Steven Lorent on the draw for Toronto. The Blues won the opening draw and in his 1000th game, the first touch to Justin Faul who drives it into the Maple Leaf zone out to the neutral zone. Gets it into the Toronto end, shoots it off the blocker of Wool. That puck to the near side. Cowan’s going to move it through center. McMahon over the line, fires it off the elbow of Bennington. Thumps it in, caught by Tvaris. Riley going after it to Sunquist is check. Good cut off on the near wing by Torchenko. Center to Walker. Who the save and the Leafs put it into their own net. That hit off his stick as Walker put it to the front of the net and trying to knock it out of the air. Toronto with an own goal. See the bomb robo cam. Oscar Sunquest is going to make this play originally. Watch this pass from behind the net. He’s going to find Nathan Walker right there. And then the puck’s going to bounce around a little bit and it looked like it’s going to end up on the stick of Knander. Knander is going to bat it out of the air into his own net. So this will be Nathan Walker’s credit. There’s the bat right there. I’m not sure where Kneelander was going on that puck. Maybe going back. That should be a Nathan Walker unassisted goal. They’ll say it’s unassisted because it was not going to go to the net except for it being put in by Toronto. Kyu fires it. Oh, the rebound and unable to get it. Yeah, a couple things couple things we could do probably. Puck coming around. Morgan Riley straight away. Knander with a shot. Rebound couldn’t swat it out of the air. Same sequence that led to chances out for blue. Dakota Joshua still wearing number 81. and he’s now with Toronto, the team that originally drafted him. McCabe with a shot that’s blocked to Shen. Comes back two and he shoots and scores. A big body of Joshua screening Bennington and McCabe with a wrist shot from the blue line. Top corner. Leafs have tied the game 1-1. And then now you’re going to see the goal. McCabe’s going to shoot this puck. Shen cannot get it out. You see how it just bounced right over his stick right there. That is an easy clear for Braden Shen and it’s going to bounce right over there. He cannot corral that puck. It goes right back to McCabe. That’s the bounce. Snugaroo kicked it off the wall to Thomas now to Holloway finding Snugaroo. Pero shoots it. Rebound off Wool and the Leafs clear the zone. Yeah, that’s a second shot on goal for Colton. Well, I talked to Dabore D’vorski. I said, “You look good in flannel.” And Dabore says, “First time ever worn it. I like it. I might wear it more.” So Leaps get to it, shoot it on and Bennington will move it to the near side. Yeah, I think the the good the good thing about flannel curves that you can spill food coffee all over. It doesn’t really matter. Well, I I said they shoot it in front and that puck cleared. I I said, “So they don’t have it in Slovakia.” And he said, “Well, I’m not there in the winter very much anymore.” But he said if it if it’s good enough for Flack, which is the nickname for Justin Faulk, I’ve got to start wearing it more. 10:22 to go. We’re tied 1-1. leaves to the puck in the blue zone. Lorent out of the far corner with it. Checks into D’Vorski. Uh-oh. Kessle got away with a trip that Lorren was leaning. And it’s Kyu coming the other way. He’s got the line. Waits. What a move. Pulls it back. Shoots it on. And then saved by the skate of the goalender, Joseph Wool. Played over to the far side. And Stcher is going to get crunched into by Butch Neic. The puck’s coming up. Doi brings it in. Doi dances down low. Bennington’s going to poke it and make the save, but Max Doi, you’re going to see Max Doy. He’s going to get his Look at the cross. Pop pop. He just go, go, goes build speed. And you’re going to see Tyler Tucker is going to come over. He’s going to try to lift the stick right there. And it’s actually going to be Doiy’s own. Oh, no. Right there. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Okay. So, it looked like he got DOI stick originally. Now, that’s not a penalty. He lifts do leaves. Riley shoots it and Bennington reached between a couple of players and got it with the glove with only 18 seconds to go in the period. It’s just as a guy that lost all his hair and decided to just finally shave it. The fact that he’s gone all those years wearing a helmet and there’s been no receding hairline is just fantastic. He slings it to the near side. Here’s Knander. They’ll work the puck into the far wing. Riley with a shot that’s going to go into the glove of Jordan Bennington. And let’s pause for this quick message. Just it’s a bit of a jigsaw puzzle being married and having a son who’s a hockey player. Blues in and a shot there from Kyu. His third of the game goes on net. Wall is going to cover it up. Matthew Joseph said Jake Neighbors. Yeah, just spark plugs and great to see Jake on this road trip. Going to get in at some point. Lorent to Yardro shot on the rebound through Mermis. Oh yeah, 100%. But I tell you what, people people go to Aton not for hockey games. They look just for the breakfast. Leaves shoot it off that draw. Blockered by Bennington. I talked to the equipment guys today on a 10day 5game road trip like that. They brought close to 300 total sticks. Leafs bring it in, shoot it on, and Bennington got a piece. Through the leg it goes and off the post. bounced on Ecman Larson and it’s cleared back out. Oscar is going to dump it in. Leaves break up the right wing now. Blade throws on the brakes, centers, shoots, scores. Lorenz puts the Leaf on top two to one. Well, it was the fourth line for St. Louis in the first and now it’s the fourth line. We’re going to take a look good good look here at former blue Sammy Blaze going to turn up right there. He’s going to lose Cam Fowler briefly and then makes just an exceptional pass through the middle of the ice to Steven Lorent. Here’s that button up. Finds himself a little time. He puts it right through the seam right in front of Matthew Kessle. And then Loren is going to test Bennington far side. Goes right below the glove for Toronto. He signed cuz it’d be closer to home and even if he ended up down in Laval and then Montreal put him on waiverss to send him there. The Leafs picked him up. Blues get it. Kyru shoots it and Josen Wall will make the save. Great dive by Butch Navage. Kept it alive for D’Vorski. Fowler holds it in. Thomas far wing. Score. Stick exchange. What a dart by D’Vorski. 2-2 on the power play goal. 642 to go in the second. There’s the exchange right there. They finally exchanges. So the fours now doesn’t have a stick, but still it’s just kind of a chaotic state and Robert Thomas just just a heck of a job picking up on it. He recognizes that seams are starting to open up and he hits D’vorski on that back door. is unable to get the second power play goal in a row. But we’re tied 2-2 at 223. Kyru’s there, shoots it. Whoa, Mike. Like Hashik makes a nice save and that puck to the near side. Here’s your Liberty Mutual Insurance crease coverage play. Look at this slip pass from Dylan Holloway to Jordan Ky. The patience, the patience. He just cannot tuck it in as Joseph Wool sprawls out. Gets it. Flips center. What a save by Bennington. Save the bacon there and the puck coming back to the near side. Stetcher onto the puck. Whoops. Cow lost an inch. His teammates there to help him out as it drifts back and Stetcher gets it off to Cow. Strip Sudter shoots it. Save. Wool the rebound. Collfortable. I said, “Yeah, it’s sort of like wearing a blanket.” And Dorski said, “Well, if it’s good enough for Flack, it’s good enough for me.” So I think Justin Fox 10,00 games may have turned Alabor D’vorski into a goal. He has been all over the place and this fourth line has made a dent here. Going to come again. They create a twoon two. So shooting and W got a piece the puck wide near side. Yeah. Save and then it went off this near side post too. Sending it out. 11 seconds to go. It’s kicked in by Cali Yarnro. Justin Fox going to take it into the corner. Chipped away to Walker and the Blues get it out. We’re going to head to overtime. and players trying to figure out what type of chemistry is going to get the job done because up to this point what they’ve done has not worked. Well, Toronto’s gone to overtime four times as well. They’re two and two and three on three overtime. Blues are 0 and2 as two other games have gone to the shootout. Long pass comes up to Tavaris. Broberg catching up to him. stays on Tavvaris and the Blues get three around Jonathan Tvaris and then get one kick out to Riley far wing two drag kneelander tucks it in and scores. They couldn’t deny Kneelander the whole way and the Leafs beat the Blues in overtime on a spectacular move really transpired just so much defense. Holloway shot. He’s going to fan on it. That puck comes up on end. Toronto is eventually going to find it in the offensive zone. You’re going to see Jonathan Tvar right here. Okay, it’s a stall top. It’s a threeon one. The Blues can’t get it. There’s three bodies around Tvar. Watch him. He’s going to kick it out with the skate right there. That’s the battle that the Blues have to have. They don’t get it. And eventually it finds William Knand. Look at this move. forehand, backhand toe drag around Bennington almost puts him in a pretzel and William Knander absolutely
William Nylander stole the show in overtime, redeeming himself with an insane OT winner after scoring an own goal earlier in the game as the Toronto Maple Leafs snap their five-game skid with a win over the St. Louis Blues.

Announcers need to call the play,…less stories about flannel, breakfast and hair. Jesus, American announces don’t give a St about hockey, and know nothing about it
Nylander scored on both nets lmao
Aww cute! Look how happy everyone there is. What a nice moment for them
3v3 overtime is so stupid.
Jonathan Tavares?
What's with those boards?
Lets goo JONATHAAN tavares🎉🎉
Good game Leafs
Nylander scores two!!! The OT winner a little more flattering than the 1st one for St Louis (!!!) *lol*. Love this guy!!!
The man passed to the other man and the man shoots and the puck goes into the net
Сент Луис скоро с улицы будут приходить и пинать как собаку
Leaf fans should be ashamed of themselfs, Austom quiting just like that. In two he'll be back with some other team. What a bunch of babies.
And the refs decide!!!
I don't think Nylander understands what the GM meant when he said "two way player"
Tavares is a beast, Nylander scores on ant net he sees, Woll is our guy!
Good game boys
PLAN THE PARADE……..
THIS IS OUR YEAR………
THE CUP IS OURS BABBY……..
IN 1967😂😂
Nylander highlight reel goal, negated own goal.
Nylander is an ASS, blaming Mariner for losing the playoffs.
I did not like a lot of things about that game, and the OT goal was not one of them.
that was Such a veteran move by JT holding the puck to boards to draw all 3 blues into him while leafs are line changing..leaving the blues all outta position and all in corner in same spot and all flat footed..leaving 2 leafs wide open with rink all to theirselves for just a few seconds is all they need.. to streak just streak in.. like willie prolly wouldnt have scored a flashy goal like that most likely if blues had been in better position and if JT didnt give him that kind of open and all the time and space and all the room and the world too…
3. Period 0goal
Disgusting
Blues had possession of the puck for 3 min in ot and JT thought "okay lets play that way"
Why the f are they 3v1ing a guy? Solid play by Tavares, and damn beauty finish by Nylander
who tf hired these announcers
Blue Ballers are officially an enigma. Two guys on one guy and our third guy comes by the scrum but quickly exits yet instead of being in front/on alert, of his own goalie… he drifts back to the end line, as he's clueless and has nothing to do… in O.T. except catch a plane.
Jordan Kyrou waited way too long to shoot at 7:35
Silly Willy just did a silly Billy! Suck it Blues!
Heck of a effort from🇨🇦 John Tavares 🇨🇦3 guys on him still gets the pick out of there 🏒
There's a guy there behind the leafs bench in a powder blue Blueberry Bulldogs Shorsey jersey and once you see it you can't not notice that beautiful jersey lol
If not for great goaltending we wouldn’t even have a single win. Nylander and Tavares have been okay in small amounts but that’s about it.
Hope we get a good draft pick this year 🤷♂️
The own goal is hilarious.
😭😭😭
effing crazy redemption goal by Nylander! What a boss!! scores on his own team and then scores the winner in dipsy-doddle fashion.
But hey…. that magic would not have happened if JT did not suck the entire OT Blues squad into going after him.
Who the fuckassfuck is Jonathan Tavares?
What a highlight goal by #88. Gotta be atleast top 3 so far in NHL. Amazing work by Tavares for opening it up
Let’s go Maple Leafs
Yeah but can you tell me more about Dvorsky and what he thinks about flannel?
Every team has had a few own goals. Why would the Leafs be any different?
Braden Schenn is a useless player for his team nowadays.
What's with all the rainbow BS on the boards. My goodness, what a cesspool.
have to hand it to slick willy
"Puts him in a Prestel" : LMFAO !!
NYLANDER WITH 2 GOAL NIGHT
JT’s play was arguably more impressive than the genius goal by Willy.
Nice goal by Nylander, but what JT did ahead of it against three guys was awesome
Woll played fanstastic.
Tavares is the best Leaf player I have seen in the past 20 years.
Not sure how, but I am really feeling I should buy more flannel…
Three guys on Tavares to lose coverage in overtime has to be on Weird NHL for the sheer idiocy. What a Dad strength moment.
Mathews for Draisaitl straight up.
JT, what a beast, this was all him followed by a nice move by Nylander. Hopefully the Leafs can build off this, I know it's still isn't great they barely beat another weak team but we can hope.
