The Washington Wizards May Be Headed Towards ROCK BOTTOM… UGHH

Wizards Nation, have we hit rock bottom yet or is the worst yet to come? No. S serious question, dude. I I’m genuinely not even worried. I’m terrified right now. 11 straight L’s. We lost to the Brooklyn Nets at home by 23 points. Um, as a matter of fact, the Net scored 129 points in us, uh, which was in fact, um, a season high by them. Uh, this spanking immediately spurned a players only meeting uh, yesterday by the by the players. I don’t know what the [ __ ] was the players, coach. What did they talk about in the meeting, dude? I have no idea. If I’m a betting man, all they did was yammer about last week’s episode of the summer turned pretty. I I I really don’t. They’re They’re not talking basketball in there. They’re not playing basketball, dude. I I Coach Keefe, do you have an explanation for this? What is the message that you have for them afterward? I think it’s we got to collectively look at ourselves, look inward. What can we do better? Come together as a unit. Well, you have a a good group of human beings, a good group of guys in our locker room. They’re disappointed in what they did. I know that we all are. We’re all in this in the collective, but that’s not up to the standard that we’ve established how we want to do things. We did not respond well tonight. Coach Keef. Coach Keef. Coach Keef. BK. I was thinking to myself earlier today while I was walking aimlessly on Wisconsin Avenue, are we in NBA hell right now? I don’t think so. And here’s why. NBA hell is the Bradley Beiel dark ages where our ownership GM repeatedly lie to us, put out a subpar product knowingly with the intentions of trying to squeeze in as a eight to n seed in the playin. That to me is NBA hell. That those years I was disinterested with this team. I I truly did not give a bleep. I feel like we voluntarily went to hell. You know what I mean? You know, we we saw pamphlets. We’re like, you know what? You know, sometimes you need to go to hell if you want to go to heaven. Heaven and hell. We voluntarily went to hell with the intentions of sneaking into heaven in a couple of years. Who called this players only meeting? God only knows. I mean, if I’m a betting man, it’s probably Keshan George. He probably went to a vet. He probably went to Chris Middleton. Him and Chris seem pretty close. I’m betting it was Keshan George. If I’m Keshan George, I am headbutting every single one of these buffoons. I would have done it in a player meeting. Make them all stand in line. Poof. Poof. It’s not going to hurt. It’s not going to hurt. It’s going to be like a pillow fight with his freaking beautiful, luscious hair. God forbid he does it pretty hard Kabali or else he’ll be out for four weeks. Um, I’m gonna read you guys a stat here, dude. I I got stats. You know, that’s all I got. Wizards net ratings by year. Uh, this year, like I said earlier, 30th in the league. Last year, 30th, 2023, 27th, 2022, 23rd. Granted, earlier on, we were not rebuilding. We were actually trying and we were still ending up with the 23rd net rating in the entire league. One thing that I want to remind Wizards Nation is this because right now it’s coach Keef. Coach Keef is a thing that’s very he’s very div he’s a divisive topic here in the DC area right now. You think politic No, it’s Coach Keefe. Brian Keefe. Wes Unsil Jr. was not fired until late January. Damn. Need a tread that trade deadline. Wes Unsil Jr.’s record with us at the time was 7 and 36. Coach Keefe is the tank commander. I myself want him fired, but I’m gonna be realistic with you guys. I don’t think he’s going to be fired anytime soon. I don’t The West unsealed blueprint right there. It’s right there. That the Dawkins was the GM when he fired him. So, if I’m a betting man, I think they’re going to let go of Brian Keefe in February, the trade deadline. And that’s even if we go through a historic losing streak, which I’m about to get to, I think he would even sustain that. Why? Because we know what it is this year. You see, at least we’re tanking with the godly draft class coming up. That’s the bright side. Development is key. Development is everything. And what? Trey Johnson played 16 minutes against the Nets. Ken Whitmore is inconsistent minutes. Justin Champany was inconsistent minutes. These young players are not disciplined. They’re installing bad habits right now at a young age, which is just one of the worst things you can do to to to a young player’s development. You you you don’t stunt as a tank commander. You lose, but most importantly, you continue growing these players. You don’t stunt their development. I’ll leave that up to you guys, but I’m just tossing that in there right now. I don’t think coach keeps getting fired anytime soon. I had this thought today. Out of all of our young bucks, Kesha, George, and Alexar are the only ones to take a step forward this year. Everyone else has either regressed or been just neutral, the same. Bob Carrington regressed. Ken Whitmore inconsistent, neutral. Blood Kabali, inconsistent, injured. Uh, Will Riley, I mean, you can’t regress. He’s a rookie. Trey Johnson, inconsistent minutes. Uh, Jamir Watkins is not even playing. Duch not even playing. AJ Johnson not even playing. I don’t know. I do want to state this that I’m still really high on this team’s future. We have some nice pieces. We do. Not only that, I think we got a fine GM. We really do. We’re in good hands. I think also coach Keef was served this platter, an undeveloped plat. He was served an undercooked platter this year. It’s the truth. It is. Coach Keef was also probably mandated to lose. But I guarantee you to all those people who are still standing on Coach Ke’s side, and to each their own, you have every right to think so. He was not mandated to lose like this. getting blown out. Nine double-digit losses out of 13 games. He was not He was not not. So, I don’t know, dude. The upcoming schedule right now 11ame losing streak. We play the Timberwolves. L Raptors in Toronto. L Chicago. They got Kobe White back. L Hawks L. The next possible dub for us is November 28th against the Pacers. And that’s if that. I think the Pacers right now are probably going to be even tougher than the Nets. Ben Matri might come back. Then after that, Sixers, Celtics, Hawks, Spurs. Then again, the Grizzlies on December 20th. Maybe Christmas comes early on that one. this upcoming road trip, dude. At 11ame losing streak, they are flying us out to clap thy cheeks. We are Instagram model status right now. There’s this quote by some famous dude. I don’t know who the hell it was. Uh I think this dude said, “Don’t don’t ever think it it can’t get worse because it can.” Um, yeah. I don’t know. I don’t know. I don’t know what else to say, man. I just want to keep our spirits up. But holy hell, it’s crazy out here. We’re going to stick to this together. But I will say this, if we hit the 20ame losing streak, I will be going off on this channel. If we are nearing that record set by the Pistons, which I believe was 28 straight L’s, I will go off. The utter debauchery that will be spewed in this channel will reach a new level.   7. In 50 years as a fan the team you root for is going to vanish from time to time. The last stretch for the Wizards vanishing on my was like 5 years or so. Somewhere when Wall got hurt then left and the team sunk to the bottom of the ocean basically with only Beal. Came back a couple of years ago because the Wizards looked like they finally learned. Beal was gone and the rebuild was on. Kuzma went and it was really happening. I don't claim to know that we are not building well. Not my job. I write code all day that is my job. I guess I feel like my time following the team should not be a waste. That I care about otherwise rather than suffer it is invisible team time. That is to protect my sanity. The thing is I don't hear things that indicate progress. I never hear…'Oh the Wizards are making tremendous progress. Watch out for them.' Its more like they will get there. So then I think…'OK when and how and what makes you say that.'

  9. I'm curious what you think happens this off season if we don't land a top 3 pick? Also, how do you think the front office will use all the money they opened up? imo the team is passed the phase of taking on terrible veteran contracts just for draft capital because we see what those kinds of contracts does to the team.

  12. it was terrible, they need to beat the teams like the nets this year or at least be close (less than 8). have to keep this guy until end of season but the coach does have to go. only 3 players worth building around

  15. I only watched the first half and it was disgusting. Everyone plays for themselves, there is no team basketball. I'm glad to see that Sarr and George have improved, especially Sarr, but I honestly expected more this season from the whole team. The biggest problem is that we don't have a real pg who will organize everything, so I would even go for Young or Reaves in free agency. The second biggest problem is rebounds, that's why I would try to trade for AD, to play alongside Sarr in the background. Imagine the five with young, bilal, George, AD, Sarr. I think they would be a playoff team. Of course we also need a new coach!!!

  19. I won't have real .. good expectations until I see us turn a corner. Not sure what some of the fan base was thinking that we could actually be a play-in contending team. We are the youngest team in the league that's in year 3 of Will Dawkin's plan. We have to be realistic, here. 1-12 is a bad start but look at the roster turnover from year to year. The only best real expectations is to look at the player progress in development with the young guys we drafted. Looking at the games that we could have won, the situational awareness (or lack thereof) Keefe has like against Boston when he waited for the Celtics to go on a 12-2 run to take the lead for good was just INSANE. The plays drawn up in those 'winning' moments were soooo bad. Them being this bad is and was expected. That doesnt deviate from how bright their future can be. You have to learn to lose to become humble to win.

  21. First of all… Leave the Commanders alone..they have over 18players injured with 14 of them being impactful players..it's just the results of an unfortunate circumstances. Now the Wizards , with all that talent need to continue to learn from this. I'm not surprised or even looking at this losing streak as the worst I've seen. I have been on this planet since 82" and this is nothing but y'all not trusting the process…say this in 26-27 season. Let Sarr, Cam, Kyshawn, AJ, Bub, Bilal and Tristan play…what doesn't kill them makes them stronger. Investigating in a big name coach next year and demote Coach Keefe back to the basketball scouting

  23. They need a new coach full stop. It’s not about winning games it’s about competing. I coached rugby at a pretty high level for over ten years. When you have a young team you start by coaching defense, because if you can keep your opponent from scoring less than 2-3 tries(like a touchdown,) you have a very good chance of winning. This team should be focusing on defense first and everything else will follow. And teams are going on these crazy runs because we are not fundamentally sound defensively….they can drive into the paint without any fear. Sure Sarr gets a couple of blocks a game, but in the big scheme of things that’s not really changing how teams face us. The formula is very simple…drive to the net …if there is resistance pass the ball to a three point shooter for an easy uncontested basket. It happens over and over and over again. We need a new coach.
