Tusks Up, Mammoth!

  1. I hope Keller feels bad about his mental lapse and locks in for the next one. Feels good to get a point out of that game though.

  2. JJ was a savior. The top guys are in a funk right now but let’s hope time will improve that. Come home, rest up, and let’s play VGK and Rangers tough!

  3. Was gonna say not even mad if we lose this cause our offense has been off and Celebrini is insane… but due to a penalty in OT?? That does hurt tbh. Glad we brought it back though on the second half of a back to back

  4. 1/24 on the powerplay in their last 10 games

JJ is on a line with crouse and mcbain almost the whole game, go figure as soon as he gets a playmaker on his line he scores

absolutely no energy coming out of not only the starting gate but the second period as well. and dont tell me that it was the second night of a back to back, that team had more energy than I had seen all game when JJ got his first goal almost 15 mins into the last period.

We sat Simashev? for what reason? literally what reason? he is a rookie with plenty of energy and actually HELPS our defense?

Someone please tell me why Tourigny is not the problem

  5. Gotta get off the ice. JJ had a solid opportunity if that wasn’t a too many men on the ice call

  6. Basically every goal JJ has scored has been RW. What the fuck does the coach put him LW on PP?

  7. 2 points on a B2B road trip against decent opponents is a fair outcome, but still hurts the way it happened.

  8. I’m taking my friend to her first Mammoth game on Thursday and I really hope we’re playing better by then!

  9. Love it or hate it, the point streak continues!

Had a man named JJ Peterka not existed this night would have been possibly worse than Monday. But thankfully, we are not in a world with out JJ freakin Peterka!! For anyone questioning the trade for him a little bit ago, we are feeling good about that right now (well as good as you can losing in overtime).

Also gotta give credit to Vitek! The two goals scored in regulation were not even remotely on him. But the rest of the night he gave us every chance to win this. It sucks his performance doesn’t look as good on the stat sheet or the box score. But for anyone watching this game, he and JJ single handedly gave us that point. Also shout out to Yamamoto for playing like Josh Doan out there, insane motor and serious drive. Absolutely loved his effort tonight!

This was one of those games where we dug ourselves in a whole within five minutes and ultimately couldn’t undo it. Goes to show you just how lethal the NHL competition is this year, can’t believe the Sharks are not a write off this year.

I know there is a lot of doom and gloom going around right now, and it’s pretty darn fair. But I’m still going to hold out hope that we will get in the win column soon and our offense will get back to average. We over performed in the 7 game heater and under performed since then. It’s time we get into average and just stick with it!

Overall, happy we got a point (even if that penalty that robbed us of another really stings). Just feel bad the moms didn’t get to see the boys win.

Nothing we can do about tonight’s performance time to pack it up and head to the next show.

    #BELIEVE

  10. Listen, y’all, I hate this stretch as much as everyone else does but I also feel like the schedule’s been brutal the first part of the year in terms of travel(13 of the first 20 on the road) and also feel like it will eventually straighten itself out. Hated the way the last 2 nights ended and obviously would rather have 4 points instead of 2 but I’ve got faith.

  11. Well from all games I ever watched, this surely was one of them … after the first 5 min I’m just happy we
Got one out of it i guess
