Can we borrow Johnston? Just for a minute or two
Sorry for censoring the title but I have no clue what Reddit’s policies are and I didn’t want the post autoremoved.
Despite the hand-wringing over this “threat” (with big scare quotes) in r/hockey I found this a nice gesture by Roy and I only wish we had someone on the roster that could “threaten” the same. Not an actual threat, but a presence to keep other teams honest. I always liked how Romy (for example) would throw clean hits and never get involved in dumb scuffles or fights but I’m starting to wonder if you do need someone to, like I said, keep other teams honest. Kinda excited to see Aitcheson get the call-up when he’s ready for that reason.

Love Roy’s passion but who are we fooling. This team is lacking toughness big time and more of our guys we’ll get cheap shots thrown their way. Other teams know they don’t have to answer the “bell” or face any consequences.
If we make the playoffs the game just ramps up physically that much more and the way this team plays we’ll get slapped around all over the ice.
Who gives a shit about r/hockey or any other sub more interested in players looks than the game

Commentator said the Dallas player got shoved from behind, but for once Mayfield didn’t actually fuck something up and looks more like he’s holding the guy back.
technically he didn’t finish the game in Dallas either
should see a suspension, least a game, can’t imagine Mikko is dirty, but that was plain fucking stupid, could’ve been very worse, looks like a shoulder for Romanov (which again is still brutal), part I hate is Mikko asking twice “am I off” like GTFO you idiot, I could hear the yelling and knew it was Roy before the camera found him, someone had to let Mikko and the Stars know
