If you’ve convinced yourself that the Guards are going to sign a good FA outfielder without trading Kwan for someone who be indicted in by federal prosecutors for illegal gambling, you don’t know Guards ball
No worry, I’m expecting trades as the FA outfielders aren’t great. They made moves last offseason for pitching, I expect similar moves to bolster the offense.
They’re not trading a young cost controlled arm for a 1 year rental.
Baltimore must be confident Rodriguez’s arm is shot because this feels like a a pretty high price tag for a Ward rental.
If that was the price I understand why they never made a move for him at the past two deadlines.
This deal is equivalent to Daniel Espino for 1y of Taylor Ward. I understand why the FO didn’t make this deal
