The question always did the goalender have the ability to play his position and did the player go in there under his own valition. What a chaotic sequence here in the final minute of regulation and coaches, players, a lot of personnel going absolutely ballistic and a lot to adjudicate at the situation room level. The Stars had not scored a short-handed goal up until that point. Everybody who’s here in Dallas on their feet awaiting this announcement. After video review, the call of the ice is overturned. And the wouldbe game time goal comes off the board from goalender interference. I want to see this again from up above. Robertson heads to the net. There’s contact with Pock and Wy Johnston beat the game clock. That’s an interesting call. How about the game tonight? Like for 50 minutes, it was humrum, conservative, tighting, and then it just went off the rails. We saw power plays and four on four and thought we saw both teams score short-handed. They’re going to drop a puck and this game’s going to end. to the serenades of the faithful. The Stars fivegame winning streak will end in one of the crazier ways you’re ever going to see as the final horn sounds. The Islanders get the victory. The Stars looked like they had come back from down two late while down a man and it comes off the board after the review for goalender interference. Robertson’s two goals not enough and Riddick and Company celebrate an absolutely crazy finish.

  6. The NHL is such BS now a days I don't even watch it that often. I don't know how a goalie get bumped going to his left but explodes backwards and still tries to save it with his blocker. Thats up there for sell of the year. NHL is rigged kind of ignored it before but now I'm convinced it is.

  7. Tough call but the officiating was horrible in that third period, and it's hard to feel bad for the Stars after that dirty Mikko hit. Yea he was falling but he clearly gave Romanov a shove too.

  9. The overhead view at 2:00 makes it pretty clear that Robertson was skating right at Rittich. The fact that Pulock made some attempt to play defense doesn't mean that Robertson was "pushed in." It seems like forwards are very eager to skate into the goalie if there is a tiny bit of contact from a defender, and it makes sense that the league would not want to encourage it.

Но Робертсон вполне мог убрать левую ногу и хотя бы частично избежать контакта. В конце концов, именно левая выставленная нога Робертсона выбила Риттиха из равновесия. Нападающий Даллас мог этого избежать. Контакт не был бы таким жёстким, если бы не левая нога Робертсона

  12. Lot of crazy things happened down the stretch – the only one that stood out as not a hockey play was #24 mayfield doing a neymar flop as he grabbed benn's stick to get the call. I know mark stone has mainstreamed soccer flops but that play ending the 4 min power play probably decided the game.

  17. I seriously can't be the only person who sees this, literally you can clearly see Robertson trying to skate to the right as he enters the screen. Which would mean he got pushed in be Pulock. Second, what is Robertson supposed to do there. He gets cross checked by Pulock who began his cross check before Robertson entered the paint aka Pulock made contact with Robertson before Robertson entered the Blue paint. People who say he's gotta move his left leg or could've moved his left leg don't know hockey. It's not that easy too move certain body parts while being cross checked from any side. Overall I do see the argument on why it isn't a goal but you can clearly see as Robertson enters the overhead camera angle that hes trying to go right and was cross checked by Pulock into the goalie. This should have been a goal.

  26. Call on the ice was a goal. I don’t see enough evidence to overturn that. Robertson was clearly pushed in and only made contact with Rittich’s skate. He clearly made every effort to avoid hitting the goalie there.

  30. Anyone trying to claim Robo could have got his leg out of the way is honestly just a hater. I mean come on, if youre getting shoved over moving at that kinda speed, are you going to magically contort your body to not make any contact at all with the goalie in that situation? Obviously a goal and ill never forget it.

To me, this was karma for what happened to Romanov, oh wait, but Dallas fans will say that was an over reaction and a bad call as well, like seriously get over yourselves you guys sound just as bad as Seattle Mariners fans because judge won the MVP, maybe Dan don’t give up shorthanded goals when you have a four minute power-play 😂

  35. There is NOTHING in the rule abt entering the crease!! Infact it explicitly says a player can be the crease. If a skater is coming from in front of the goal his direction is taking him into the crease every time people. It also EXPLICITLY says a defender CAN NOT push the player into his own goalie. Refs made the right call on the ice. the overturn was larceny.

  38. Absolutely disgusting call from the refs. To look at it and still overturn it after there was clearly contact from the Islanders player to the Dallas player…. Pathetic reffing and video review crew

  39. Сдесь со стороны игрока далласа ни какой грубой игры не было, очевидно, и до этого рантанен не летел на игрока романова это было по инерции, хотя всë же игрок далласа мог уйти от ужасного столкновения, матч драмма!!!
