MORE TERRIBLE NEWS FOR JT MILLER… (Canucks, Rangers, Elias Pettersson)
[Music] You know, these NHL players that we talk about have the opportunities to prove me wrong. Not even to prove us wrong, but to prove me wrong in particular, because I know fans of the New York Rangers might be tuning into this video and saying, “Hey, Lego, screw you, man. Really, you’re always going out there dunking on our team. Dunking on the Rangers because they traded away Krider and Trouba who were doing well in Anaheim. Dunking on the Rangers for what happened against Detroit. And then of course the big one, dunking on the Rangers for employing JT Miller. and he is indeed the topic of conversation here because we have some pretty uh h pretty bad updates in regards to how he’s been playing so far. This is exactly the thing. These players have the opportunities to prove me wrong. And the Rangers are playing the Vegas Golden Knights later today. Acura is going to be in net. So that will be a very interesting matchup to pay attention to. But here’s the thing about that. I have gotten bit in the past because, oh, we talked smack about a JT Miller, for example, and then he ends up scoring two or three points in the very next game. That has happened before. But despite the fact that that can potentially happen yet again today against the Vegas Golden Knights, we have to talk about things the way that they are. And the way things are right now, it’s not really looking like JT Miller is having a fun time this season. We had ourselves an article posted by Trevor Begs on Daily Hive that kind of sets the entire tone. Take a look at this. I’ll leave a link in the description if you want to go out there and read it yourself. But nine Vancouver Kucks players are outscoring JT Miller right now. Nine. Yeah, I know. Save all your David Comp and Lucas Reichel nine jokes for later. But guess what? The Vancouver Conucks have a number of players who are significantly to some extent and just barely in others outscoring the New York Rangers newest captain JT Miller. Heading over to the stats right here, JT this season has a whopping nine points in 20 games played. Two seasons removed from being a 100point score with the Vancouver Canucks, Miller is on pace for 37 points in 82 games played this season. Now, shootout winners unfortunately don’t count as points. But it is true at the opening parts of the season, JT was at three points in three games. Things just started to fall apart after that. Multiple pointless game streaks. He has gotten one point in his last what is that seven games. It’s not looking good for JT at this point of the year. And now Trevor Begs is going out there and acknowledging that Drew O’ Conor, Jake De Brusk, Evander Kane, Phil Heronic, Connor Garland, Brock Besser, Kefir Sherwood, Deas Patterson, and Quinn Hughes all have more points than JT Miller this season. Ilas Person in particular is the fun name to pay attention to on that list. He’s got 19 and 21. And a lot of folks are going out there and saying, “Hey, wait a minute. This guy, he’s been productive this season, much more than the other dude, Adam Kirsten Blood of the Hockey News said Elas Patterson has nine points in his last six games. That’s the same amount of points that JT Miller has in 20 games this year.” Yeah, as we had said, Elas Person is starting to get back out there on the board, starting to score more points. He’s gotten two points in his most previous four games. I mean, that’s pretty solid. Add on to that the extra point against Columbus, and you’re looking at a guy who literally has nine points in his last six. He is outproducing JT by a pretty significant margin, I would say. And it’s all the more valuable when you acknowledge that Elas Patterson is opening up his offense after doing all the great defensive and faceoff work that he has been forced to do. Because the Vancouver Conucks, I don’t know if you noticed, they haven’t really been doing the best job at bolstering up their center core. And with all the injuries, Ilas Person has been forced to be that guy. We spoke about this in the Frank Ocean thumbnailed video from last night, but Ilas Person is looking very strong. And on the other hand, you have JT Miller who is on pace for 37 points. The thing is when you head over to folks on the Ranger subreddit, just getting a feel for what they think about in regards to this Miller situation, most of the comments on the Rangers sub are saying, “Yeah, no, Miller is definitely hurt. The way he is playing, the way he is activating, the way he’s moving, the lack of intensity on the back check. Just kidding. He does that all the time. But there is a very evident lacking element to Miller’s game execution-wise this year that makes it really easy to think that the guy is definitely not his 100% healthy self. And it does come with the territory for the Rangers to force guys to play even though they might not be at 100%. Look at Chris Krider. Exact same thing happened to him. He played through all the pains and inevitably after getting sent away, being able to recover, he’s able to come back and now he’s one of the more effective goal scorers in the Pacific Division. Let’s read some comments from Rangers fans that talk about JT and his situation. To be fair, in exactly 50% of the Rangers games this season, they have scored one or less goals. If we expect a turnaround, this is an entirely different conversation, then there’ll obviously be more points to go around. JT is no doubt underperforming and he’s undoubtedly a part of the problem. At the same time, generating offense takes all five guys doing their jobs, which is a very reasonable take. You know, if JT Miller was playing in Colorado, for example, he probably would have more points at this stage. But still, you’re thinking about it like, yeah, one for one, Miller to New York, Elias Person in Vancouver. Obviously, Kucks fans were pretty divided on whom it was they kept and whom it was they let go. Did they keep the right guy? Did they trade the wrong guy? I’ll still go out there and say that they did trade the wrong guy. They traded away Bo Horvat. This is all, of course, with hindsight included. It’s very difficult to come to these conclusions in the moment. Nobody could ever tell that JT was going to ruin his relationship with Elias Patterson in a few years after Bo Horvat got traded. But hey, if Miller was on a better scoring team, he probably would have a lot more points. Still maybe not be looking all too great. But of course, that is an element to talk about. Let’s go out there and read this over here, too. Miller is clearly hurt. Also, I think people are downplaying his leadership. Stubbornly playing while injured and not producing in simultaneously hurting the team. That’s not leadership. As bad as he is, the team is likely worse off having to go back to Ma as a number one center. We also have yourselves this comment made by Marty Party where he says that, “Hey, it’s a rare trade where both teams end up losers.” And a Conucks fan goes out there and responds saying this. I’m actually happy Miller’s gone. Yeah, we suck, but it feels like the weight of dread lifted off at the team. After losses, Miller would be so pissed and everyone in the team was walking on eggshells. Now we don’t have him walking around with his sour puss face yelling at teammates etc. I would rather suck than have him back on our team. Hopefully Mancini works out for the Canucks. I really like him. Reminds me of Jovonowski. And hopefully Miller can turn into what you guys need him to be. And yeah, so you could definitely say fans on either side are feeling quite strongly about the move. But I want you to let me know your thoughts in the comments section below about this bad JT Miller update. How Drew O’ Connor is legitimately outscoring Millsy. How nine Vancouver Conucks players are outscoring Millsy. Now sure to be fair, Miller is not the highest producing Ranger by far. There are a number of guys, five in that have more points than him this season. Our Tammy Paneran has double the points. So obviously, it’s not a good look for the newly appointed captain to be potentially playing hurt and doing all this stuff on the ice that hurts the team. Lack of backing will always get you, no matter how injured you are. But with that in mind, I want you to let me know your thoughts in the comment section below. Heading into today’s Rangers and Vegas Golden Knights matchup, how do you feel about Miller and the way he has played so far? Let me know in the comments section all your opinions. I hope you enjoyed this Vish 999 and bye. [Music] [Music]

That jt miller trade is so crazy cause I called it so long ago and I was right jt is a bully and was nothing but a liability, should’ve kept horvat
JT Miller, the hockey team killer
I was upset when they traded Bo Horvat . They should have traded JT then . I caught a lot of grief for that one . JT wants to win , good for him , but he can't control his emotions and that always works against you .
Jt Miller reminds me of a good all team wrecker #11 ,Mark Messier 😮
I wouldn’t be surprised to see miller get traded to Philly.
So what you are saying is Milsy is about to have a scoring outbreak, lol.
No face, no case?
I guess JT is locker room poison. Who knew.
So maybe it was justice, for all past trades with NYR? Finally Vancouver comes out of it a winner!!
Bad dream for sure. He belongs with RICK TOCCHET. They are both bad team leaders
JT Quitter!!!!!
Thank you for sharing. Good night. 😅😊😅
It's amazing that any Canucks fans still think November points matter. Realistically, what are Pettersson and the Canucks poised to accomplish when the games start to matter? Not much. Too many other division rivals have clearly eclipsed them.
Maybe if Miller was retained, that would be less apparent. But that didn't happen.
JT isn't aging well Good trade for nucks but should have kept BO and traded JT instead at his PEAK VALUE. PETEY IS LOOKING GOOD AGAIN .
You are the worst canuck based youtuber by far. Drama, smugness, bad voice, terrible takes, won't get to the point ever. You just absolutely SUCK.
JT had 138 points in his last 120 games as a Canuck. Petterson literally sucked dog $hit for the last two years.
Jt's living rent free in your head Lego. Rangers are 21st in the league while we are 28th. Plus JT does a hell of a lot more than Petey does on the ice. He is always physical. His load is always heavier than Petey's perimeter hockey. Talk is cheap. Playing a physical brand of hockey is much harder than being a perimeter player.
I'm a NYI fan and I'm happy that Vancouver made the right decision in keeping Petty. I'm even happier to see how fast Drury dismantled this Rags team of sissies!! Listening to Rag fans as they panic and become unhinged has been wonderful for my soul!! LGI baby!!
Horvat over Miller! Watch the second Golden Knights goal, JT was going for a stroll!
You see this guy last night against Vegas ? Doing donuts in the D zone while the Knights scored lol
Toxic, lazy, bully, theirs a reason why he's been traded from every NHL team he's played for 😂
With all this shoulda woulda…question is what would have happened if they kept Miller and got Necas instead? The only reason it fell through was because of Colorado and this center problem wouldn't exist. Not knocking Petey and I hope he continues to get back to form, but I wonder how the Canucks would have done if that happened. 🤔 the only reason I'm say this is because he was more established and loved here in Vancouver. Motivation could be higher here.
EP40 is back. If he gets a spot on the Swedish roster. We put him on the ice in the final to bring the gold home. I like it too be in OT. 😉
