Creed Humphrey on the #Chiefs needing to execute critical situations & take it one game at a time! via | The Insiders

  1. Not that I want the team to be panicking, but it doesn’t seem like there is a sense of urgency from players or coaches, and considering how dangerous their situation currently is, it seems a little weird.

  2. As good as they want it to be? So mediocre and incapable of playing 4 quarters of good football.

  3. The only thought I need from Creed Humphrey is to say “I need to fix my snaps.” Example: Pat’s errant throw to Brashard on that crucial play at the end of the game. The ball was practically rolled to Pat. How about he fixes that problem first.

  4. Only need to finish above 2 of the following: Jags, Texans, Steelers, Chargers & Ravens.

Jags & Texans are ass & the Chargers are imploding from OL injuries. Steelers meh. Ravens are 5 – 5 & we hold tie breaker over them if they end up WC.

    Cheer up ya’ll

  5. “Take it one game at a time, give 110%, gotta correct the mistakes and be consistent with the good stuff”

  6. A little self reflection by the coaching staff wouldn’t hurt.  Of course the time for that was the bye week.

  7. I haven’t lost faith, but I need Andy Reid to have faith in the run game if I’m going to board another hype train.

  8. I think a lot of what he said could apply to some of the people I’ve seen commenting on this sub over the past week, but this is Reddit after all so its unsurprising.

I’ll be rooting hard for a win on Sunday. Win or lose, I love this team and I love watching football. Andy Reid, Mahomes, Kelce, Chris, all the guys have put in so much work and given me so much joy over the past decade that I refuse to let a down year, or game, get to me that much.

  9. We came back from a 1-5 start and still made the playoffs back when Smith was the QB, and that was before they expanded the playoffs to 14 teams. So I wouldn’t count out Mahomes and company at 5-5. They need to make some changes but they can still turn things around.

  10. It doesn’t matter if this is the most talented Chiefs team ever. They lack discipline and have no accountability to do their job.

  11. I agree it is about execution and the errors appear to be on the whole team.
Since it is Creed talking let’s go over how many snaps Patrick had to scoop barely off the ground.

  12. It starts with you man. The play can get ruined right away because of your poor snaps. Like seriously, the whole second half he was snapping the ball at Patrick’s knees

  13. I like Creed a lot, but the statement is contradictory. You can’t say “we are as good as we want to be”, and then say “it’s about execution in critical situations.” In other words, we aren’t as good as we want to be. 5-5 isn’t it.

  14. My favorite picture of Creed in action was when he helped push a car stuck in the snow (was it last winter?). The best tush push!
