It’s safe to say, man what a roster… can’t believe we pulled it out, Ayton much above expectations, we got 2 of the best players of all time, a solid All star in AR; Rui, Larravia and Smart as good position players, and to crown it all, a chemistry and “Power of friendship” going on in LA 😎☀️🌊

  1. Trade some of the dead weight and add another high caliber bench player and try to make a run. 

  2. They need one more player with Smart’s defensive ability. He’s so scrappy and tough on defense hounding the other team. That was a great pick up in the off season.

  3. Laravia, Ayton, and Smart have each been like 2-3x better than I expected them to be. Getting those 3 guys for the same salary slot as DFS was a coup for Rob, kudos to him.

  4. People who keep on shitting on the roster also don’t understand it was made without losing anything. I was surprised ayton got through. Then smart too and laravia. Nothing was lost in exchange not even rui

  5. The roster is good, definitely capable of 50+ wins, but there is still room for improvement. If we can make another move by the deadline to further improve, the sky will be the limit for this team.

  6. Still worst bench statistically in the league. But hopefully this changes now more health. I’m stoked. Not trying to be negative. But the bench needs to become impactful. The only way.

  7. Gabe and kleber might actually do something as well. Adou also looks good to me. Vando gotta go tho

  8. Not enough defensively for us to be a legit contender. We need someone like Jaden McDaniels type of player akin to Gordon plugging all the holes for the Nuggets. JJ need to start Smart . That perimeter defense looks awful last night.

  10. I’m interested to see what we get in the playoffs. Hayes’ role may go to kleber come playoff time, but it’s only going to be 5-10 min a game if anything.

    Again our best lineup will probably be rui and lebron as the bigs with any combination of Luka AR, and whoever else. But if ayton keeps playing like this….. just need to keep him engaged and happy. Seems like both luka and AR have different rhythms with him and both found a groove with him.

  15. Rob needs to somehow turn some combination of maxi/dalton/gabe/vando into 1-2 more guys who can contribute on both ends in the playoffs with one of them being a starting level wing. I don’t know if it’s this deadline or this offseason but there’s a lot of guys here who are looking to get paid next summer

  19. I love the team but people are getting ahead of themselves. Lakers aren’t even in 1st place, we’re in 4th place but we’re crowning ourselves champs huh lol

  21. We need Wing Player who can shoot and defend. We have enough offensive firepower to compete with anyone in the West

  24. most important part without a doubt is they are having fun out there and it’s contagious both for the team and the fans. great chemistry on this team, it’s a joy to watch.

  26. I do like this roster a lot I do feel like we are missing a young wing defender and maybe Thero is it I hope so but wouldn’t be mad at getting a herb jones if it just means dalton and a second. Been a huge fan of dalton but his defense is to much of a liability and last night really showed we struggle at guarding athletic guards and wings.

  30. Roster is solid. I think we can win around 55 games if relatively healthy. But don’t see a world where we beat Denver or OKC unless we acquire a starting wing
