I think this would be great for Zayne and team Canada

Good decision, help rebuild his confidence a bit and get him back into game shape while playing meaningful minutes in high pressure games
As well as start building some early chemistry with McKenna π
No surprise at all!! I think this will be really good for him!
He should have been on the team last year π
Should have been on the team last year! Just another reason to watch the World Juniors (like I need one lol)
Good! Provided he’s healthy enough for it, combining this with a rehab stint with the Wranglers is likely the best thing for him right now.
I know he canβt go the AHL, and going back to OHL is pointless but is there any value in him going a tier 1 NCAA program to keep him playing, and against quality competitions?
Rip it up at the national level, kid
Do they want him on the team this year?
Great decision.
As they should
It’s not a bad plan. He’s still a bit ‘unseasoned’ for the NHL. I think he’ll dominate that World Juniors tournament.
this has all worked out swimmingly,
He can rebuild confidence during world juniors and also develop in the AHL for a little while during his conditioning stint.
He can rejoin the team post trade deadline when we hopefully will have been eliminated from contention and have traded vets,
Hopefully he can shine like he did in the last game of last season. This year was just ugly for him.
