Vikings guy could have cut that comment in half. Just sounds pretty salty.
lol
Copium
Let him clown
I think before this game he was on the hot seat…I’m sure it’s hotter now
A lot of respect for what the Minnesota Vikings, their unit, JJ McCarthy, all this and that, but I mean, it could have been anybody. If you got a son or anybody, all he did was overthrow his receivers and throw it to the defense.
“all he did was just catch it and run”
1. yeah, that’s the game dumbass
2. then why the fuck didn’t you stop him?
Sounds like coach fucked up then.
If anybody’s nephew could have broke a 40+ yard return on them he must really suck ass.
It’s just poor leadership to not hold yourself accountable for your unit’s mistakes
It’s true but you shouldn’t say it in public, it makes you sound petty.
Matt Daniels sounds like an asshole who makes excuses and won’t have a job soon.
“We just suck” is not the flex he thinks it is.
He didn’t lie
To be fair, I basically said that about the Cincinnati return to open the game. I don’t think the guy even had to break from a straight line to the endzone the coverage was so bad. That being said, you’re not supposed to come out and say that, like the guy was just lucky
CHGO is going to spend 15 minutes on this in the B block tomorrow
What a dog-ass quote from a coach. That could be straight out of the Eberflus regime. Maybe the Vikings really are spiraling out of control.
That’s genuinely a “circling the drain” type cope quote.
Last place mentality
Lmao even
This is up there when a someone loses and says “ we gave them a gift” cool enjoy that L you Jabroni .
How hard is it to say “The Bears executed well on that return. We need to do a better job maintaining our leverage”?
Like coach speak is so, so easy.
Grasping at straws to be able to keep his job or line up another one.
If it wasn’t going to happen on the kickoff, it felt like the offense would have gotten it in range.
Sounds like a cope to me… if anyone could have done that it sounds like your return defense is ass
Interestingly enough, he didn’t have the same pissy, dismissive, sour grapes-ass take about Myles Price’s punt return that is the only reason they were even in a position to win in the first place.
Isn’t that just football? Like yeah, there are cool splash plays that punctuate the game, but the vast majority are just one team executing them better than the other.
Lot of words to say “please don’t fire me”.
damn. KOC’s staff is full of salty bitches i guess
Our special teams has been ass this year, so this is just an even worse indictment on the Vikings that they let that play happen in the first place
i’m sure someone’s son could have made the tackle or shed a block as well.
Isn’t this what Michigan’s QB did to win the natty? You could’ve put anybody under center
“All he did was catch and run” isn’t it YOUR job to make sure he doesn’t do that? What a dumbass comment lol.
That’s one of the dumbest things I’ve ever seen anyone say. If it’s so easy and anyone can do it then why don’t they do that on every kick?
He’s right anyone could do what Duvernay did, that why people like Hester, Dante Hall and Deion running back those kicks don’t matter. Because anyone can do it. I mean it’s not like you get a Gold jacket for running back kicks. 😂😂😂
Why is it, these Vikings were talked so high of when because of that Brian Flores Def, when they played the Eagles and lost by a touchdown, same thing when they beat the Lions, and smoked the Bengals, but now they we beat them it’s like oh, well they’re ok but not great. Next week is the real challenge. Same thing with the Giants and Cowboys. The Giants beat the Eagles and the Cowboys took it to OT. Our team has shown time and again they’re capable yet they looked down on. This team reminds me of my favorite season of Bears football to watch, 2001. Everyone called us lucky, or a paper champ, but they just kept kicking butt.
Dude ate shit watching his unit get scorched, then doubled down with this dickfuckery.
“I’m actually not that good at my job” is what it sounds like to me.

I didn’t think it was possible to love Burden any more. Perfect comment. I would’ve liked to see the coach’s face when he read it. lol
If anyone could do it, WHY COULDN’T YOU TACKLE HIM BEFORE HE CROSSED MIDFIELD?!
I’m loving Burden more and more man, I almost want to get his jersey. Wish they sold jerseys with the Virginia patch on them
