I don’t know what’s worse: Having terrible scouting, or getting grifted by Stewart.

Don't get me wrong, I'm very happy with our offensive pics (even O-line pics are beginning to shine) but these defensive picks have been straight awful outside of the very few. End vent.

You are ok with Burton and All?

He was always going to be a project. There were some hilarious videos of some of his plays in college. One I remember clearly where he pancaked two blockers and then tripped over his own feet and fell over trying to get to the QB.
Not saying he’s gonna be a Pro Bowler but I don’t think anyone expected him to be good as a rookie
He sucks
Is it his fault that he’s a well documented project or the bengals fault for drafting him knowing full and well they needed day 1 contributors?
I’ll keep blaming the Bengals. Zero foresight.
> Wash, rinse, repeat for Cincinnati Bengals first-round picks when it comes to zero impact as rookies
Lmao what? Who is this idiot? The last first round rookie we drafted that had zero impact was Jonah Williams in 2019 because he was injured the entire year.
2020 – Burrow – literally the starting QB until his injury
2021 – Chase – what do you think?
2022 – Hill – played in 15 games as a rotational piece when our secondary was still good and he didn’t need to make immediate impact
2023 – Murphy – played in all 17 games as a rotational piece behind Trey and Hubbard, actually got 3 sacks
2024 – Mims – started 13 games when he wasn’t even supposed to after the injury to Trent Brown and played at an average level
A 12 year old playing madden could have known how Stewart was going to go.
Color me shocked. 🙄
I don’t think Mims is bad, but yeah he gets lost in that shuffle so I get him being overlooked
At this point, this team should just trade away picks for talent, since they piss em away most of the time
I will never let it die how visibly frustrated he was on draft night, pissed that he thought he was going to prom w the popular kids (cowboys) and got left at the macaroni grille. Dude doesn’t want to be here.
Just cut him now. Get rid of the cancer. I’m tired of even holding onto these guys. It perpetuates a message in the locker room of “just okay is good enough for now”. Fuck that.
We focus on the wrong traits for defense. Measurables are important but not if there’s no production attached to them. Smart players are more important then team captains. Also stop with the nice guys on defense. Maybe it’s just my pet pieve, but give me assholes on defense
It will be devastating when he resurrects his career with his next team
Every person in the Bengals organization that had a hand in drafting this kid should be let go today. It is the philosophy that keeps killing our team.
