  5. Mavs fan here. I can’t speak for everyone, but trust me I’m happier about the loss than y’all are about the win. Y’all don’t understand how BADLY we need to tank this year. We don’t own our first round pick until 2031. 2027 goes to Charlotte, 2028 is a swap with OKC, 2029 goes to Houston, and 2030 is a swap with San Antonio, so this is the LAST chance until 2031 to put a high-end lottery-level talent next to Coop.

    If we came to play and beat a JV team by 30 like we should, this wouldn’t be a discussion.

  17. It never should have came down to this. If we play the way we’re capable, we blow them out of the water. Even if we did the bare minimum and shot free throws the way we had all ytd, we get at least 6 points (18-29 before the fouls at the end. 82.5% coming in, that’s roughly 24-29)
