But let’s get to this one. Between the Milwaukee Bucks and the Philadelphia 76ers, the Milwaukee Bucks 8-7 on the year, 7-8 against the number after a 118 106 loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers in their last matchup, while Philly comes in on the second half of the back-to back, taking on the Toronto Raptors at home on Wednesday. And this is a Philadelphia 76ers team that continues to have trouble getting guys in and out of the lineup. Now, we’re going to have to obviously see how this injury report shapes up going into the second half of the backtoback. But going into the game against Toronto on Wednesday, the Philadelphia 76ers are just they’re once again just missing a lot of pieces. Joel Embiid’s ruled out. Paul George is out as they’re, you know, managing his left knee injury. Jared McCain’s available. Kelly Ubé Jr. is out as well. That’s why that line kind of flipped towards Toronto where it started with Philly being favored at home. But now the Sixers have to go out on the road for the second half of the back to back here. But it’s worth remembering this is a Sixers lineup that is used to playing without Joel Embiid. They didn’t have Paul George very much. So, so we’re used to seeing the burden go on Tyrese Maxis shoulders. And granted, when it was for a sustained period of time last season, it didn’t play, it didn’t play well. You know, it would obviously resulted in the Philadelphia 76ers having horrible record missing the playoffs, but they at least reap the benefits of it by getting BJ Edgecom, who early on looked like he was going to be solid. I mean, he still can be. He’s just going through a little bit of a cold spell in some of his recent games. A little bit inconsistent, but I think he’ll be fine. And I think this Philadelphia 76ers team is one that you got to watch out for. You know, as far as the Milwaukee Bucks for this game, Giannis is listed as out with an adductor strain. Kevin Porter Jr. is listed as out. Torian Prince is listed as out obviously with his neck surgery. So for me I just when you see the Milwaukee Bucks down Giannis, it was tough for the Bucks when they still had a lot more supporting pieces. But this is just a new look Bucks team. And you know with Milwaukee having Giannis listed as out that just really really stings this team because you know you still got Kyle Kosma, Ryan Rollins, Miles Turner and these guys have shown that they can sort of lift the load in Giannis’s absence but consistently I’m not sure I’m buying it. And the Philadelphia 76ers on a backtoback this season are 3-0 against the spread. They’ve been able to hold it down. They’ve been able to manage it properly, manage the rest properly, and just carry it over. Yes, it’s a back-to-back spot with travel, but it’s not like it’s cross country. It’s from Philadelphia to Milwaukee. It’s a short flight. And like I said, whether or not Joel Embiid plays for me in this game, I don’t think it matters. I think the Philadelphia 76ers have proven that in the ATS role, whether it’s as an underdog or just on a backtoback, they’ve been able to keep themselves in games and make things competitive and win some games outright. This is a Philadelphia 76ers team. It looks like, hey, we’re putting last year in the rear view, and now we’re back to prove that, hey, it was a down year because of injuries. Now, again, tonight, this looks like Wednesday’s situation isn’t really, you know, doing much to uh to to dispel that. But I just think the Sixers can get the job done in this one. I think that, you know, Milwaukee, I think, is really going to feel it without Giannis in the lineup. And I’m going to go with the Sixers in this one as they pick up another back-to-back ATS cover.
