This was in an article about potential head coach candidates for this next season. Why would anyone want to hire either of these guys as a head coach after this season???? Especially Petzing, he shouldn’t even be an NFL OC, much less a head coach

  1. Sorry the end got cut off, it said: “believe it’s a matter of when, not if, Rallis gets his shot to run the show.”

  2. Rallis i can understand. Yeah this year has been a mixed bag for the defense, but he’s shown that he can absolutely get more out of players than what you’d expect. Its harder to evaluate him this year. Injuries, lack of complementary football (i think this gets a bit overblown by fans but it still does impact things) from both the offense and special teams, and an overall very young roster all make it really hard to say he’s directly doing a bad job.

Petzing shouldn’t be a coach in this league at all, much less get looks for a hc

  3. Rallis is better than Petzing but not by much. This team is pitiful. The only one that should stay is Monti.

  4. Man!!! They better not get Drew Petzing out of here. But oh well, that’s what has to happen. Let’s break it now so we don’t suffer from his loss and make it easier. Farewell Petzing

  5. Putzing will be back as assistant coach, offense coordinator, Rail-Ass can run multiple D fronts including the plank, don’t see him going anywhere. Mr Rogers will be back with 2 new gunners added in 2026. Get ready for a reunion, and another rebuild

  6. I don’t think it’ll happen but chances aren’t terrible. He’s failed upwards into the nearest thing to head coach somehow so who knows. We hired Kliff who was fired at the collegiate level and sure we’re a dumb franchise but we’re not the only one.

  7. As much as fans of this team refuse to accept, Petzing was held back a lot by Kyler. The offense has really only struggled against Seattle since Brissett took over.

Kyler’s unwillingness to take hits killed any consistency the offense could hope for and while that’s been better with Brissett, having a statuesque pocket passer has exposed the fact that we have 4 replacement-level (at best) offensive linemen.

Even if he doesn’t get renewed by the team, Petzing will get scooped up really quick by another NFL team and will probably be good at his job.
