Honestly disappointing. 3 years and he's been injured for all but 6 games. 7th round pick but he had some high upside if it wasn't for his injuries

  1. Fucking sucks. From what I understand everyone loves him. Who knows if he will ever play for us again

  2. This is the main reason he fell to us in the 7th…if he wasn’t a “made of glass” guy he would’ve been taken long before the 7th…but unfortunately the injuries are just something he will never be able to escape.

  3. There’s a parallel universe where he stays healthy and him and Joey are both pro-bowl/all-pro

  4. Sucks man. I think that unless he’s a paragon of health next camp you gotta let him go, though. Maybe he can become an assistant and go a coaching route.

  5. The reason he slipped so far in the draft was because his injury concerns. He was a mid round talent but the injury history pushed him back.

  6. adios buddy. at some point you just have to play through things, millions of dollars at stake, just place em up

  7. I mean this is the exact reason he was a 7th rounder. Damn shame it is really holding him back like his medicals predicted but we can’t be shocked

  8. Sucks. Hope he gets another shot next year at camp but that’ll be it if he gets hurt again unfortunately

  9. Make a cross sport retirement trade for Penix. Steelers send Trice, Beau Bennett, a first aid kit and a roll of duct tape to be named later. Boom. No more Will Howard talk.

  10. He was injury prone in college too that’s why he dropped down to the seventh round.

  11. Some dudes just can’t stay healthy. The Steelers have to move on. Guy is all potential, zero reality.

  12. What a waste of a pick and that’s acknowledging that most of those picks are wasted to begin with.

  13. Time to move on. Took a chance in the 7th, 3 years in he is what the medicals said he was. It happens
