Shedeur Sanders | NFL Week 11 | Kurt Warner Game Tape Breakdown

He says “wtf are these plays they’re running” in a nice way
Imma keep it a buck. He ass.
I might be biased so ill start w that but from this game and then from the preseason does it seem like stefanski is straight up calling completely different pass plays for shedeur?
When Gabriel’s on the field he gets all these easy 2 drop screen passes behind the line, meanwhile the average shedeur pass play is a 5 step drop with everyone going deep, which given the most criticized aspect of shedeur is his tendency to hold on to the ball wouldn’t you want to eliminate that by continuing to call quick hitters?
Every breakdown has the ex-QB/analyst asking wtf are these plays. This offense is complete trash, in addition to the OL/WR/TE struggles
Also, Fannin has a long way to go. I watch breakdowns damn near every week and he is struggling mightily with concepts and how these routes are supposed to be run. Catching and running, he’s fine. Everything before that…woof. Too much for him right now, even if he was the recipient of the best Shedeur pass of the night.
Okay, this was actually a great breakdown and made me feel better
“Overall I thought Shedeur played a really good football game” is not what I expected to hear.
Grain of salt
Only had the pleasure of playing college football (LB). Shedeur was not as bad as some people in this thread made him out to be. I saw a guy with a lot of potential in an unfamiliar environment. The browns do not have a solid offensive foundation – let alone tools. He genuinely has a lot of potential, but it’s a matter of if he will be able to adjust to the faster game speed.
Breakdown of his play…. Run, run for your life, this team has no line!
After watching this breakdown every offensive coach including Stefanski should be fired tomorrow for this clownshow. Not Sanders or Gabriels fault
So here’s my question… is it O’sheas responsibility to make sure the receivers are running the routes correctly and doing simple things like looking back to the QB? Or is Stefanski the one that’s supposed to be doing that? This seems like it’s a huge tell about our receivers not being coached correctly. Having Kurt explain this with detail realllllly makes me lean this toward O’Shea.
