Zeke is in the 2nd year of a 4 year/$32 million contract
November 20, 2025
You know what, good for him. $32 million to not be any good at something must be awesome.

Cam Johnson was positive with minimal points so it’s possible. Cmon Zeke.
-18 is almost impressive in a game we won by 7….
He played great defense on Zion but yeah sadly he’s a black hole on offense. This post is just pointless bitching though lol
I did Nnaji this coming
Calvin Booth was a dumbass
And in other news, water is wet, Zeke is on a terrible contract given out by the previous GM. Nothing to see here…
Fire Calvin!!!
Is Adelman in the Epstein files and does Zeke have them? How on earth was he closing this game.
lol I was just looking this up too. So much sad.
I just hate Booth so much. Zekes contract could’ve been used to resign Pwat
Ok?
Fire Booth
Can we hire Calvin as an equipment manager or something just so we can fire him again? I feel like one firing wasn’t enough.
(My advice to Mavs fans: do the same with Nico.)
Cheeks.
I swear anybody that walked into Calvin Booth’s office and asked for a huge contract got it.
I have a feeling they’re just trying to get his trade value up by playing him but holy shit he is terrible.
I still contend that the *only* reasonable explanation for Zeke’s contract is that he had blackmail material on Booth
It’s a bad contract, and Booth shouldn’t have given it.
That said, the NBA is a league full of bad contracts, and at a relatively “small” 8 per, it doesn’t even crack the top 10-20 of bad contracts, and two years from now, it’ll have value as an expiring one.
Can’t fix ’em all in one off-season. How bout those A+ off-season moves tho?
He’s got to feel real awkward cashing those checks with such ass performances
Kroenkes need to eat this money. There’s no way around it. Just waive him.
Spencer Jones was a positive and he didn’t take a single shot…
TBF we haven’t played him at all and then just threw him in the starting lineup.
Rookie Zeke >> 6th year Zeke
Does he get a lot of run w jokic? Havent watched much yet. How does he do with the starters and a proper pg/point center?
Is this a money laundering scheme?
lol y’all need to actually watch the game.
actually matched up pretty well against zion. outside of AG, probably matches up best against zion.
he did fine defensively but gave us nothing offensively.
his shot looks completely broken unfortunately. no idea why they messed with it. can’t he just go back to his old form?
Thanks a lot, GM who was fired. What else is there to do? Maybe play this turd and maybe he scores points so we can trade him?
Can the front office package hjm with pwat to get someone playoff-ready?
He’s bad
I’m so tired of doggin on Zeke. Can he just get better already?
I hope after tax he will put money in asset investment so he don’t have to work the rest of his life.
Not trying to defend the contract – but he had a solid 2H – Zion scored 5/pts – zeke hustled, played good D, rebounded pretty well. He whiffed a layup – but his +/- does not tell true story – in the 4th, nuggets implosion was not him.
To think that two/three years ago he was a really good bench player hitting threes in the corner. I really enjoyed the Facu/Nnaji combo when they worked together.
To be fair, his contract was designed as a trade chip, but I don’t see anyone willing to trade for him if he’s not using his opportunities.
Comments from this subreddit after he got signed:
> Are you kidding me? That’s a steal of a contract in the current landscape and will be highway robbery when the next media deal is inked.
> I love love LOVE this deal. Zeke is still incredibly young and was finally putting it together before he got injured last year. He’s going to be a versatile defensive piece now for the foreseeable future.
> This is only an average of $8 million a year y’all. That’s barely higher than Jeff Green is making.
—
> Another Calvin Booth masterclass
—
> It’s a win-win. Either he plays well and solidifies our backup big spot, or it provides us with a great contract to trade and backfill his spot with
—
> He must be dominating in training camp. But on a real note, I think this is a great deal. The salary cap is going to explode in the next few years, so I’d Zeke becomes any semblance of a good bench piece, by year four, he will be grossly underpaid.
—
> he was one of the most versatile defenders last season in advanced statistics and in the 99th percentile as an offensive rebounder. young, athletic and great motor. pretty much our vanderbilt but can shoot 3s at a high rate when he’s in the flow. great move
What happened, did the guy just give up after he got the contract signed? lmao
Everyone knew its a bad contract here right when it was signed lol ( there were few.. optimistic tho lol )
God, we’ve been talking about this contract for years. I would have through we were on year 7 of that deal. Can’t believe we still have 2 more years of it
