St. Louis Blues at Toronto Maple Leafs | FULL Overtime Highlights – November 18, 2025

talking through their personnel. You can see them right there pointing different players trying to figure out what type of chemistry is going to get the job done because up to this point what they’ve done has not worked. Well, Toronto’s gone to overtime four times as well. They’re two and two and three on three overtime. Blues are 0 and2 as two other games have gone to the shootout. Keep in mind with Toronto, no Austin Matthews, no Matthew Ny, but that guy who has the puck has been held without points just one time all season. And Knander brings it in. Kyu took it away. Sends it up to Paro and the Blues get possession and then he tow drags Knander. Kyu in fires a shot that’s blocked. Jordan recovers the puck. Robert Thomas will move it to Philip Robert. Back to Thomas. In overtime, Thomas shoots just wide and it goes back to Kyu at the line. Jim Montgomery said he wants to see his team push the pressure a little bit. [Applause] In overtime, Holloway now with Butch Navic. bobble. Dangles skates it out. Morgan Riley, the defenseman’s going to put pressure on to Butch Navage. The pass comes to Brock. Minute 15 to go. Brock around the D. Bro to the goal to Butch Navage. Oh, and it ate him up in the skates. Couldn’t get rid of it. And Max Doi’s got the puck. Yeah, they would have had a twoon one, but Doy and Knander, they’ve been out there for a minute and a half. They’re exhausted now. They bring Tvar in on goal. John Tvar with a shot. Bennington the save. The puck out of play and a stoppage. A minute 38 into the five minutes. Sudden death overtime. Well, I tell you what, Philip Roberg, he’s going to find a little bit of speed here and he’s going to try to jump Knander who’s a forward. It’s a great play and then right at the last second he tries to tuck it to Buchich who just can’t handle it. It’s inside his body. And then Jonathan Diver, smart play because he knows he doesn’t have any help behind him. He tries to test Bennington right there, but you saw the explosive speed from Brover. He almost had it. Leaves win that big draw in the offensive zone for them. Cowen is going to get the puck. Thomas nearly stripped it away and that pass ends up out of the zone. St. Louis is 142 and one up here in Toronto since the start of the 20201 season. just gaudy in Ecman Larson. They set it up and a shot from Tvaris knocked away by the stick of Thomas and another faceoff coming in the blue zone. Well, that’s two shots for Jonathan Dvarz in overtime. Both shots were deflected just moments ago and then this one right here ends up becoming a threeon two. What a great stick there by Robert Thomas who holds his play strong. Threeon two. He’s not traditionally a in a position like that to defend a threeon two, but he plays it to perfection. His body takes away the pass, but he goes long stick on stick to deny the bar. You see Robert Thomas, he’s frustrated by one thing, the faceoff loss. He’s lost two now in overtime, which has led to all the puck possession for Toronto. That’s where the frustration’s coming from. Shen wins the draw, but Navich helped him by pushing it back to Fowler. And the grizzled trio for the Blues of Fowler Butch Navic and Shen on the ice. Faulk was out there. We’d have a trio of a thousand game guys. Fowler Butch Navic finds Braden Shen. Two and a half gone. Shen in. Shot. That one goes high. And another faceoff needed this time in the offensive zone for the Blues. Well, a ton of faceoffs here. And you saw Tvaris twice at one end try to shoot through a defender. Braden Shen tries to shoot through a defender right there. Not traditionally what you see in overtime. Usually players end up trying to wait a little bit longer for a grade A opportunity, but there have been a ton of whistles here. So faceoffs ever so important. And a big one here for Robert Thomas who hasn’t won one yet in overtime. 230 to go. Halfway through overtime. The team faceoff wins tonight have been good. Yeah, big one right there for Thomas here. Big one. Snugaroo, Thomas, and Pareo. We know Paro can go coast to coast. They just made it a one-on-one for him. He’s like, “What do I do with this thing?” They get it back now to Snugaroo. I got no Jimmy Snug’s got no edge. You hear him say that right there? He had to get off the ice. So, he’s going to get all cleaned up here with a stone hopefully or a new blade. Pass comes out to Kyu. Brings it in. Kyu trying to shoot it through McCabe. It’s blocked. Loose. Hand it off to Robert Thomas. Pare changes. Thomas drives the goal. The puck comes loose. And Kyu, he’s the first one there. They can’t hold it in. Thomas will get it back. Take it in. Carry it wide. Throw on the brakes in the corner. As you can hear, the skate cut the snow. Broberg drifts back up. seconds to go. Very defensive forward overtime, hasn’t it? Really not a lot of great ace. Holloway in on side. Kyu defended by Tvaris. Creates out of the far side. Hands it off to Holloway on the forehand. Fans on the shot. Toronto’s going to get it now. McMahon. And there’s a minute 12 to go here in Toronto. Long pass comes up to Tvaris. Broberg catching up to him. stays on Tavvaris and the Blues get three around Jonathan Tvaris and then Tavaris what a kick out to Riley far wing two drag kneelander tucks it in and scores [Music] they couldn’t deny Kneelander the whole way and the Leafs beat the Blues in overtime on a spectacular move. [Applause] Well, they spoil Justin False night, but it really comes at their captain’s hand. Jonathan Tvarz absolutely wins a battle in the corner that sets up the game winner, Joseph Wall. He’s our Hyundai player of the game, the winning goalender. Of course, he stood up tall, but I tell you what, you you you go to how this overtime really transpired. Just so much defense. Holloway shot. He’s going to faint on it. That puck comes up on end. Toronto’s eventually going to find in the offensive zone. You’re going to see Jonathan Tvaris right here. Okay, it’s a stall top. It’s a threeon one. The Blues can’t get it. There’s three bodies around Tavvar. Watch him. He’s going to kick it out with the skate right there. That’s the battle that the Blues have to have. They don’t get it. And eventually it finds William Knand. Look at this move. Forehand, backhand, tow drag around Bennington. Almost puts him in a pretzel. And William Knander absolutely dazzles here in Toronto. [Music]
