I think your three worst field goal percentage nights of the season are in backtobacks. How do you find a way to compete better on these nights? Yeah, I don’t know, man. I honestly were just tired tonight. Uh I think you watched last night’s game. It was an overtime game. Played at an amazing pace. So, um I think we’ll keep getting better. Maybe can get in better shape on it, but we had nothing tonight. Uh you know, it’s funny. I wanted to fart our offense, but we were wide open on a ton of threes, and that’s what we do. and we just couldn’t make any of them. Um, and then I thought as it went on then I thought the ball stopped cuz u I didn’t think like Ryan always goes downhill. Didn’t go downhill much tonight. So uh you know it’s one of those guys you just try games try to figure out a combination and uh you know tonight we just couldn’t do it. Uh on the nights when a defender just I don’t want to say ignores Cuz I mean Lucas kind of daring him to take those threes. Is is those shots you want him to take or do you want I I don’t mind those shots but he wasn’t I wanted him to be more of a picker tonight. We said it going into the game. Uh he was supposed to be in the middle of the floor setting picks and rolling down the paint and with everybody else why. And you know I again I I think he was too tired to do it. I’m just being honest with you. you know, uh we came out in the third quarter and that’s what he did and we scored literally every time. Uh but even then you can see he fouled. He he was he was exhausted. He he gave us everything last night and uh we needed that game because it was a cup game and tonight we just didn’t have it and as a coach just live with it. Um did get it to 13. Yeah. Late and then it was the miss three. They come down and hit one. Reeves just I mean when you’re when you’re trying to make a 31 point comeback that those six point like those six-point swings are are Yeah. Yeah. Or and I think we had it at 13 and missed the layup and you know a wild layup but a layup. Uh you know so we we fought hard in the third quarter. You know our goal was to try to get it to 10. We actually did the one time. Uh but we just couldn’t we couldn’t sustain our play. So uh before the game you said Luca does it to everybody. He almost shot as many free throws as you did as a team. Yeah, you did challenge the one in front of you. Just I I know he does it, but 20 is a lot. So, was it just tired legs, bad positioning? What What did you see? No, I think Luca is good. Yeah, I mean, we can explain it any other way you want to. Luca is good. I I I still disagree with the challenge. I thought I don’t think you should be allowed to kick out. I thought the contact was Lucas foot kicking out. Uh, I mean, if you can’t challenge a shot and and he said it’s your natural rhythm to kick out, I don’t know how you guard anybody. I mean, I could have scored eight points a game with these rules, you know, 10 points. Uh, obviously Luca’s great in the pick and roll situations, but it seems like Aiden was giving you guys a lot of trouble. Yeah, we trapped, you know, um, to try and Luke is such a great passer. Him and Austin Reeds are great passers. I thought they did a great job spacing the floor and they took advantage of it.

  9. You shoot 24 percent from the field in a half and turn the ball over 10 times you find yourself down 31 at the half. I still applaud that they didn't give up. 15-0 run in the third looked they could have come back. Then the back to back 3s from Luka which were well contested threw water on the comeback. Then when we were making a second run at an epic comeback Reeves threw water on us with back to back 3s. Credit to JJ on that timeout, probably encouraged his guys to step on the gas, end the game in the second quarter because they poured it on before the half extending the lead to 31. I mean what do you say? Pass better and shoot better? 3rd quarter felt good. Question is, if you can play like you played to go on 15-0 run, why do you need to be down by 31 to play with that kind of energy and focus?

  13. 0:12 lakers played yesterday as well! That’s not an excuse for playing like that !! So don’t do that doc! Where is your heart!! Do you guys even care to try to win when it’s too late?!

  17. The Lakers had a cup game yesterday, played a back to back and had to travel to Milwaukee. This is an awful answer and poor coaching. Bucks are going to be shipping Giannis out bc of keeping Doc.

  23. The Lakers were also on a back to back, got in around 3am, missing their 2nd best player and key role players. So the team lost because they were tired on a back to back at home??? There's no excuses for the performance tonight, none!

  24. Doc, just rest your starters then on 2nd night of back to back after cup games going forward. We were obviously way more tired than they were, they had a comfortable win and won in regulation, but they also had to travel. Seriously though, just rest the guys like Giannis & Kuzma, Turner etc if we’re not gonna play hard. Giannis always plays hard, so just rest him to make sure he doesn’t get hurt on these back to backs.

  30. How can a coach be okay with their team not giving maximum effort? Doc has a losing mentality, and he's only there to collect his paychecks. It's the job of the coach to put in a winning culture that prepares their team for battle every single day no matter the circumstances.

    Giannis told the reporters before the season began that in order for this team to succeed people have to come in to play hard every single day. He wasn't just talking about the players, he was also talking about the coaches. We don't have the luxury of wasting Giannis' prime and effort by having players and coaches around him that are not as dedicated as he is. A serious coach will leave excuses at the door. Doc made excuses for this loss because he did not prepare the team to compete prior to the game. We want to see the practice sessions posted on youtube like we used to see when coach Bud was here. Show us what this team is doing in practice. Is Doc really coaching this team? Or is this team being coached by the incompetent Greg Buckner? Doc is not the right coach for a player like Giannis.

    Giannis wants a coach that will hold him and his teammates accountable instead of making stupid excuses. Doc should be coaching a team without any expectations like the Wizards. Giannis wants to win and he cannot do that when is surrounded by a mediocre and unserious coaching staff. The reason the players (outside of Giannis) played lackadaisical in back to back games is because Doc already expected them to lose. A coach (especially one coaching Giannis) should not have that kind of a losing mindset. Giannis gives 100% effort and doesn't make excuses. Doc needs to be moved to the front office or fired. And if Horst and ownership refuse to fire him, then i guarantee you Giannis will be getting out of Milwaukee sooner rather than later.

  43. Glenn is never beating the allegations. He's terrible. Tired? Dud you have a back to back game at home. Shouldn't have been in OT with the hornets any damn why. Stop making excuses. This guy is a mess.
