I was on a trip overseas, and the time difference meant the game was from 2-5 in the morning. I slept a bit earlier, then stayed up to watch the game. I had to avoid reacting too loudly cause my wife was asleep next to me, but right at the end she woke up and asked how it was going. Through gritted teeth, with fists clenched, I said “3 to 2. Bottom of the ninth. Two outs. Bumgarner.” The rest is history 🙂
I was there!!!!!!!!!! The silence that fell over the crowd when MadBum walked out is something I’ll never forget. (Also that triple almost killed me)
