Funny how each season for the past three years the Seahawks games have determined our fate.
2023: week one upset shocked the world and earned the nickname no name Rams. Narrow late season win sparked the epic late season stretch to make the playoffs
2024: first matchup got us too .500 and spurred another winning streak. Last game didn’t matter because of it
2025: best win of the season when you consider opponent quality
I remember that 2023 Seattle game vividly. If we lost that game, season was over (had no hope once we fell behind). If we found a way to win, we would still have a chance. Then we made that beautiful run.
2024 was basically the exact same situation due to our 1-4 start, but I knew we could make a run since we did the prior year.
Fast forward to this year where we have none of those worries and are basically a lock for the playoffs already. Feels good 👌🏼
So far the season has gone almost exactly the way we hoped. If you asked before the season, what our ideal position would be heading into week 12, I don’t think many people would complain about being 8–2 with the only losses coming to the Eagles and the 49ers. If we play consistent ball with limited injuries from here on out we will have the best shot at the no1 seed.
I mean that team was closer to the Super Bowl than it is now
