We’re witnessing something SPECIAL in San Jose…

We are witnessing greatness in San Jose after Mlin celebr scores a hattick putting them in the history books and pushing the Sharks to seven wins in their last 10 games. What we are seeing unfold from not only Celerini but from Net Miner Ascrov and everyone else is absolutely insane to witness and shows how bright the future in San Jose truly is. We have so much to break down in this episode from Mlin Cellerini making history, Ascarov’s dominance, and so much more. And you’re not going to want to miss any of this. So Darius, let’s just dive straight into it today where we do know the San Jose Sharks are on a heater. 72 and one over their last 10 games, just two points out of a wild card spot. This is a team that a lot of people looked at and said, “Hey, this is a rebuilding team.” But what this team is doing going into the second part of the early season is absolutely turning heads. Starting with Mlin Celerbrini, as you seen from the intro video, scoring a hat-tick last night to force a win versus the Utah Mammoth Darius. Before we get into all these stats, him making history. What is your thoughts on what Celibbrini is doing right now? Well, it’s unbelievable. He’s making NHL history. And I mean, he is when you’re talking about the Olympics, which is coming up soon, he’s making a name for himself. That’s for sure. We’ll get to that later in this video, so stay tuned for that. But he’s been unbelievable. And I think that the one thing, and look at this, in his last 14 games, not even to start the year, which he was good to start the year as well. In his last 14 games, like some of these points are unbelievable. He has 24 points in those 14 games. He has two hat-ticks in that time. And the Sharks have a winning record, like you said, don’t look now, but they’re only two points out of a playoff spot. Now, Mark, I haven’t seen parody like this in the league. And it’s been a weird year uh in a long time, right? Like so many teams are close, unless you’re the Calgary Flames. And sorry Flames fans. Shout out to Mark over there on Flames Digest. But uh you know, unless you’re the Calgary Flames, uh every team is still kind of in it at this point, which is pretty crazy, right? Normally once you get to Thanksgiving, you’re looking at different teams, you’re like, they’re way out of it at this point. They’re done. But that’s not the case around the league right now. And the Sharks are very much, you know, trying to get into that first uh you know, wild card spot there. So, or second wild card spot, I should say. So, they’ve been playing very well. The one thing that impresses me the most when you’re talking about greatness, right? Obviously, they’re putting out points and stuff like that, but when you look back to last season, the body language to me is one thing that stood above uh the rest with this team. When they lost, they just got back to work and they kept trying. They were one of the most fun last place teams you would ever see in a league, right? So, uh they just continued to have fun and kept learning, kept growing. And when you look at, you know, Connor Baddard and Chicago and some other teams, and I don’t want to single out just them, but just as another example, you know, sometimes the body language wasn’t that good after losses. This Sharks team, they look like they’re having a lot of fun right now, and it looks like they’ve been having a lot of fun even last season as they continue to learn and develop. So, that to me is a scary thing cuz now they’re a young team that’s right on the fringe of making the playoffs and they’re just playing with a lot of confidence right now and they’re having a lot of fun. And I think that’s the biggest thing. Like you said, this is absolutely absurd. This is video game numbers coming from Celibbriny in his second year in the NHL. Still so young, 19 years old. We’re seeing the dominant 63 points last year. But the big thing with Celbrini that a lot of people mislook over is the fact that not only is he offensively gifted, he’s one of the best face off guys we’ve seen in quite some time at this age. And the fact that his 2-way game is molding so well early on shows how bright this is a franchise player. This is the face of the NHL in a couple of years and going into some insane things. He becomes the fourth teenager in NHL history with 30 points through 20 games joining Wayne Gretzky, Sydney Crosby, and Mariel Lemieux. This is an insane list to look at. Looking at all the guys throughout this, these are all Hall of Famers. First ballot, we know Wayne Gretzky holds the record all time. For a point, Sydney Crosby is going to go down as a top five player with Lemieux. What is your thoughts on Celibbrini doing all this? I know there’s a lot of people looking and saying, “Hey, there’s some people above him.” We have Nathan McKinnon. This is a guy that’s currently tied with Conor McDavid and just three points shy of what Nathan McKinnon has. When you look at his point totals from last year, he finished with 10 points less, roughly 10 points less than games played. And so far this year, I know it’s, you know, early, but he has 10 more points than he has games played. He’s, you know, he’s really turning it on this year. And you talk about sophomore slumps around the NHL and we’ve seen it from multiple players like even Austin Matthews for example. You see it from so many players. Even Conor Bard, you’re not seeing it this year. This is impressive stuff from Mlin Celerrini. He’s been playing really well. And anytime you’re on a list first of all currently beside Conor McDavid, Nathan McKinnon, guys like that. Like that’s great company. But then when you look at the record books on what he’s been able to do as a teenager, I mean he’s there with Sydney Crosby, Lemieux, and Wayne Gretzky. Of course, Wayne Gretzky, you know, crazy numbers. everyone knows that. But, uh, to be on that list is super impressive. So, they continue to, you know, string together impressive wins. He continues to string together, uh, consistent good hockey, uh, you know, two-way hockey as well. And he’s putting up those points. So, he’s been honestly brilliant this year. He’s been fantastic. And when you see so many sophomore slumps, I’ll say it again. I mean, it’s a thing that I always look out for. You see it across the league. So many rookies and, you know, secondyear players go through it. uh he he’s not he just simply isn’t. And I think that’s the biggest thing. I mean, even going further into you could see me flash on the screen. He is the sixth player in NHL history with three plus hatticks as a teenager. This adds him to the list with the players that we see in Wayne Gretzky, Crosby, Lemieux, names everyone knows. What we are watching right now out of the San Jose Sharks, there’s so much elite talent. Will Smith, our favorite Will Smith in the world going through showing how good Will Mack can be together. You look at so many names on this list and it doesn’t even scratch the surface. Misa is a name that we know is injured right now, but has shown a lot of great flashes in his first season in the NHL. Sam Dickinson is a name that everyone’s going to know after his dominance in the OHL. Darius, quickly before we get into the second guy that is absolutely turning heads. What is your thoughts on this team? They might be sellers come deadline time, but the biggest thing is, is there any other team in the NHL with this bright of a future? And does the future just look teal colored to you? Yeah, absolutely. I mean, this is going to be a top team in the league for years to come at this point. They did the rebuild properly. Shout out to Mike Greer like he did a great job. And like you said, they could be sellers, but they’re selling off older players or expiring contracts, right? They’re going to hand the keys off here soon to I mean, they already kind of have to the younger players, right? And like you mentioned, Dickinson’s been great. When you’re talking about Will Smith, he’s not World Series champion Will Smith. He’s not even the Fresh Prince of Belair. He’s the San Jose Sharks Will Smith, but he’s a good Will Smith at that. He’s playing really good hockey as well alongside Minelbrini on the same line. So, I feel like they’re they have uh some dominance moving into the future. Like they’re this fun exciting team right now. Like this is a team that can dominate with a lot of these pieces. And you got the goalending, which we’ll get to in a second heading into the future. And I think the biggest thing is, listen, we know how good this team is. They have great players at every position. And it falls right back onto the hottest goalender in the NHL right now, and that is Ascrov. Listen, when the Nashville Predators traded this guy, everyone said, “What the hell are they doing?” This is the future of goalending in the NHL. We know how good Asgro is, but looking at his last five game series, this is absolutely mental. A 923, 971, 966. You can look down, these numbers are outstanding for his age. I mean, looking at it, what 23 years old? What is your thoughts on the goalending position and just the fact that he is putting up dominant performances while still blocking a lot of shots? Well, it’s funny that you bring up Nashville because ever since he’s been in Nashville, he’s been considered the best young goalender in the league. And I feel like at some point he could potentially be the best goalender in the league. And you only see goalenders really come into their own around like 25, 26 years old. He’s not there yet. And some of these numbers, like you said, like this looks like he’s playing be a pro on rookie mode sometimes. Like a 974. Are you serious? Right. And the one thing that’s crazy to me too about Ascarov is with the Sharks because of course they’re still a young team and a team that is developing and learning. He’s facing a lot of shots, right? Like he’s he’s having these good performances, but his workload is unbelievable. He’s facing an average of 30 shots a night, which, you know, for some teams is average. Uh and for other teams would be considered a lot, right? So to me, I I I think that it is quite a bit every night. like that’s a significant workload and he’s getting the job done. So, he’s been awesome. Whenever you have goalending like this, I truly believe uh in hockey, in the NHL, everything goes through your goalender. So, when your goalender is playing with a lot of confidence, a lot of poised, your top players are going to play that much better. Everyone on the team is going to play that much more in sync because you have confidence that you’re going to get that save. So, that’s what Ascarov has been able to uh give to them. And I mean, that’s the biggest thing looking at the team. You have youth throughout the entire lineup with a lot of veterans. You’ve seen them try to reach the cap floor, signing guys like Orov, we know John Clingberg, there’s a lot of veterans on the team that maybe gets moved out. But Darius, one final question. We know the biggest thing around team Canada right now is do we get to see Celerini join this team? And I wanted to get your opinion on is there a chance that this team does not select him to join them? Here’s the interesting thing about this and there’s a lot out there right now. Min Cellrini and Connor Baddard are top five in scoring in the NHL right now. Can both of them make the team? I think if you’re team Canada and the management there, you have to look at 2006 and go, “We made a mistake. We brought too many old guys. We Why didn’t we bring Crosby? Why didn’t we bring some of the young blood?” Right? So, I think that they’re going to rectify that mistake this year. And I think if they’re selecting between the two of them because listen, you’re still going to want to go for experience. And a guy like John Tvar is also playing really well still. So, I wonder if he makes the team. But to me, they’re both centers, but CBrini has better numbers. He is a bigger player. And I think that he has that experience with Crosby and all of that as well. I think that if they’re going to pick one of the two, listen, they could possibly both make it. They’re playing really well. And I love Conor Baddard. Respect this game and I think he’s a great player. But obviously we’re talking about the Sharks in this video. If it’s one or the other, to me it’s Cabbrini. And I think that Celinrini 100% whether we’re talking about Bard or not will make team Canada’s Olympic team this year. But I mean Sharks fans, what is your thoughts on this team? What is your thoughts on Ashgar? The numbers he’s putting up are outstanding. What is your thoughts on Celibbraney? Is he going to be the face of the NHL in the next few years? Cuz I mean, at the moment, look at the records that he’s going through. The fact that he’s almost leading the league. What is your guys’ thoughts on the entire Shark team? Is the future teal? Are we going to take over with this team? Let us know all your thoughts down in the comments. While you’re down there, leave a like, subscribe, share this with your friends. 1. I’m a new Sharks fan mainly because I moved nearby the Shark Tank and I’m a huge Warriors NBA fan. That connection shouldn’t be overlooked as his work ethic has been shaped by growing up with Steph Curry as a role model. Macklin is already a Superstar with his name on about 90 percent of the jerseys at the tank. He leads by example and is team first all the way. Askarov has had to cover for so many extra shots due to the relative defensive incompetence. I don’t know if it’s a coaching strategy to try and control the puck for a breakaway vs clearing the d zone, but they don’t seem to pass it cleanly enough. Once that gets better, the sky is the limit with two strong goalies and the speed they have in the breakaways.

  2. Bedard is fun to watch, highly skilled. But celebrini is just different. His skill on offense is great, but take notice of his defensive posture and it’s hard to think of another player I’ve seen in my lifetime that played this well offensively AND defensively at this age, the future is teal my friends
