“I think he crossed a line there.” 👀 #CJShow #Islanders #Stars #NHL

A bit of a controversial moment between the Dallas Stars and the New York Islanders on Tuesday. A lot of people talking about it. Patrick Wah obviously didn’t like it. You see him obviously barking at Ranton as he’s leaving the ice. I think he crossed the line there. You have a head coach talking to a player saying, “You’re not going to finish the next game.” Honestly, if a player said that to another player, it would be a threat. But I would be more here for it cuz I’m like, “Okay, well the players are out on the ice, you know, playing hard in the battle, so to speak.” I don’t like a head coach saying that to another player. Do you think Patrick W should be disciplined for that? I’m okay with letting things get policed themselves. Like I don’t need like a nanny state here, but I don’t like the idea of a coach sort of threatening another player just cuz what are you going to do about it? Like if you talk the and you’re player to player, you actually have to go on the ice and kind of like live it. I just think it’s easy to trash talk from the bench.

  1. Honestly in my opinion it's honest. The "code" dictates there's going to be a goon squad on the ice for the Isles the next time they play the Stars, and Miko's getting jumped. I agree a head coach shouldn't say that publicly, but let's be real, any of our coaches in the locker room would be circling the calendar planning war crimes for the next game. March 26th is gonna be one to watch.

  2. That is such a soft weak ass take. One of the coaches players just got boarded from behind brutally and your mad about the coach being mad about it to the player who did that?? Come on. That is pathetic to say that
