The Washington Wizards May Need To Consider A CHANGE SOON…
Good evening, Wizards Nation. So, I think it’s time we have a serious conversation about Bo Carrington because it’s not looking good. Um, and this is coming from above supporter. It’s not looking good. Even though it’s early in the season, can’t collapse the defense, can’t penetrate. I I I feel like I’ve barely seen this man drierble past the free throw line this year. Granted, it wasn’t his forte last year. wasn’t his forte coming into the NBA. But I’m just saying as a point guard, I feel like you should, you know, put, you know, paint pressure. Anyway, whatever. Defense is just non-existent. They’re just picking on him every single night. Confidence is shot. Mid-range game gone. The player we saw last year, this is not the same Bub. It’s not the same B. I haven’t seen like part of me was thinking was like, did somebody kidnap Bub? Should we call the federal authorities? This is not Bub Carrington. Now, again, I feel like I could be overreacting. These could things could change. Obviously, he’s a way early into the season. On top of that, Bub’s only 20 years old, was one of the youngest players in his draft class. So, you know, but even with all that, considering how disappointing he’s been this year, I’m about to utter a sentence that I felt like I would never utter this year. Ready? I think it’s time we give AJ Johnson some run. Um, and again, I’m not one of those dudes in this fan base, to each their own. To each their own, I’m not one of those dudes who’s super high on AJ Johnson. Um, I think he has potential. I’m very intrigued by his potential, but coming into this season, I was just like, he’s not going to play at all. First half of the season, forget about it. Uh, who the hell is this? Oh, not AJ Johnson. second half of the season. Perhaps he’ll get minutes here and there, you know what I mean? Like, you know, even then, I was just like, he’s just going to be buried in the depth chart on, but most importantly, he’s just super super raw. As a matter of fact, AJ Johnson is actually older than Bub Carrington. And I will go as far as saying that AJ Johnson is way more raw than Bub Carrington. But with how bad Bub isn’t playing, I’m just like, no. For two reasons. I think Bub needs to be benched. Not permanently benched. A three to six game benching, you know what I mean? And then give AJ Johnson some run. I don’t know. Uh, in this video I’m going to go into that, you know, whole ordeal. But yeah, if you enjoy this video, please like and subscribe. I truly appreciate it. So yeah, I’m g state this one last time. AJ Johnson, you know, like again, I like the kid. He gave us a lot of flashy dongs, a lot of flashy moments last year when we traded for him in the Koosma trade. But at the same time, I am going to be realistic. I do I I I felt like coming into this year, this was going to be a year just just like NA not applicable. This dude wasn’t going to play. Not because he’s just there’s so many players around him that are much better, but mostly because he’s just super raw. Super super raw. Now, about AJ Johnson, come talk to me next year. Maybe even his fourth year in the league. Honestly, he still needs to f This man is 6’5, weighs what? 120 wingspan of Well, he all right. Athletically, he’s gifted. 6’5, a 69 wingspan. You know, the thing with him is just he needs to fill out his frame. You know, he barely even got minutes at the MBL. So, he came in as a project. So, you know, I’m not going to go in anyways. Anyways, I feel like I’m going in circles. But with Bob, when you’re like down so bad and your confidence is just completely shot, which it is with Bob, it is. It’s unfortunate. You know, he needs to get his mojo back. He needs to get his groove back. I feel like one of the best remedies to that is just sitting out. Take him out the game. Let let him just watch the game from the side. And again, this is not going to be a permanent bench. I’m just saying three to six games. if that, you know what I mean? Depending how AJ Johnson runs, I think it’s a it’s a win-win for both for both parties. Bub Carrington can slow down, recalibrate on the bench, and then possibly come back and, you know, play even better. We saw what pretty much happened with Kent Whitmore this year. Coach Keefe benched him pretty much, you know, play five minutes against the Celtics, and then Kent Whitmore now all of a sudden, past five games, he’s been playing really solid. But granted, that was just like a kind of a oneame benching here and there. With Bub, I he he needs like a a couple weeks. A couple weeks would do nice. And then on top of that, on the flip side, give AJ Johnson some run. A nice young prospect on our team. You know, give him some time to develop. You know, may maybe he’s improved from last year. Granted, from what we saw in summer league and also in the preseason, still kind of looks the same, but he did fill out his frame. I believe he gained 13 or 14 pounds of muscle. So, you know, but that’s where I’m at right now because AJ Johnson last year, for all those who are big AJ supporters and to each their own, I would consider myself somewhat in the middle. You know, I’m not, you know, what it is what it is. You know, it is what it is. I I I am very intrigued by him, though. But last year, I mean, 38% from the field, 24% from the three. This was in healthy minutes. 27 minutes in 22 games with us last year. You know, wasn’t efficient whatsoever. Granted, he had 9.1 points, uh, 1.4 turnovers. Um, but, you know, that’s kind of expected. It’s kind of expected now with Bub. Bub last year, 40 41% from the field, 34% from the three. Much more efficient. Um, but even with that, like you showed promise. He showed promise, man. But I feel like doing this could serve both parties, which in the end all be all will serve us. Y’all let me know what y’all think about that, man. But, you know, we we we all pretty much know point guard is going to be a big point of emphasis this entire off season. I believe we need to find one. Whether it’s in the draft, it depends where we land. You know, we got two nice young dudes and Darren Peterson and Muel Brown Jr. who I’m gonna talk to in a couple videos for now. um maybe a veteran, you know, we’re just seeing a team right now that’s just blacking a point guard that’s not applying any rim pressure whatsoever. That’s what we need. Could you imagine how how much this offense could like open up? If we had a point guard who applied rim pressure, if Alex is playing this well without a point guard, could you imagine if he had a point guard there to service him, give him easy buckets underneath the rim? our the French prince. I Anyways, this is about point guard play, you know. So, I’m I’m in that boat, man. Um, but with Bub, I’m not giving up on him. Uh, as a matter of fact, I mean, we all know like he’s learning a new position pretty much and he’s learning on the fly. But granted, I will admit there’s been times where I’m just like, damn, do I need to readjust my expectations? Because coming into this year, I was in the camp thinking, “Ah, perhaps Buff can be our starting point guard next year or in the force of your future.” Now, I’m just like, I don’t know. I don’t think so. I don’t know. I don’t know. I don’t know. But I do believe Bub has a role, man. I I can see him as that six-man combo guard off the bench. You know what I mean? And you need those in a deep playoff team, but he needs to develop that. He needs to just go back to being himself. I feel like right now he’s forcing himself to be something that he’s not. So, but only time will tell. But y’all let me know what y’all think about this whole my idea of just benching Bob to his own benefit and giving AJ Johnson some run that just gven saying that gives me like freaking like what the I thought I’d never say that. Especially in the first half of the season. I was just like maybe in the second half of the season. Yeah. You know, after the veterans are traded, but I don’t know. You know, I’m very intrigued by AJ Johnson, though. I I I feel like it it would be malpractice by us if we just trade him or release him if we don’t give him any run. But ideally, I thought the run would be second half of the season. It is what it is. But, you know, I did not think AJ Johnson would do anything this year or play for the matter. But if you enjoyed this video, please like and subscribe. I truly appreciate it. Till the next video. Pio.

Change CJ too while you're at it.
I just see nothing from AJ Johnson that tells me he is ever going to be the answer.
AJ Johnson isn't the answer
dude the wizards should make you apart of the scouting team and marketing team
you think bub plays bad defense and lacks playmaking and ball security, wait till you se aj johnson
Hahahahaha…
Nah. AJ is more braindead than Bub.
Bub has been playing so bad this year that I actually want AJ Johnson to get minutes over him… Bruh
There's no way anyone can judge A.J. Johnson without giving him any significant playing time.
