The Colorado Rockies need to show that they can help you optimize as a pitcher for Colorado. They keep signing guys like, “Come on, plug and play. We don’t know how to make you better. So, when you struggle, you’re going to suck and we’re not going to help you.” Pitchers think of that. If there was a a narrative around, hey, we understand that it’s tough here and it’s not going to be an advantage, but we have an idea of how to be effective as a as a pitcher in Colorado. What the organization has said is we have no idea how to do that. Come on over. That’s not going to work. So, they have to establish that they have a system. Their system right now is h it’s bad, guys. It’s real bad. Let’s just put it this way. If every other baseball team is an iPhone 15 or newer, the Colorado Rockies are a Nokia 28B41416689 LB model unbreakable. That’s what they are. They are a Motorola sliver. They are an LG chocolate. They need to figure it out. They need to innovate. They need to take some chances because what they’re doing sucks. Every player knows that. And no one’s confident that they’re going to learn anything or do anything. And if they want to go there, they want to do it for one year or they want to get as much money as possible for Chris Bryant, which makes sense.
