[Chris Kwiecinski] Ben Johnson, walking back to the locker room after improving to 7-3, does not look like he’s walking back to the locker room after improving to 7-3. This demeanor is probably a reason why the Bears are 7-3 right now.

There was a *lot* of … learning moments… from the offense on Sunday

  2. Even in that post game celebration he said right before “there’s a LOT we have to clean up… “
Could tell he wasn’t happy. Priorities in the right place.

  3. The only moment he gets jacked is during good better best. All the time before and after im sure he is all game face. Love it. Helps show the team to never get too high and there is more work to be done

  4. Process over results.

If you didn’t play well, you didn’t play well.

Yea be happy but the quality of your competition shouldn’t effect your standards.

  5. Ben’s a psycho in the best way.

But it’s also not lost on him that we aren’t playing winning football for arguably most of the game. Good offense in the first q and good offense in the fourth is not a superbowl winning. Especially when your defense is trash the whole time. I don’t think he’s seeing development he considers satisfactory tbh, defensive injuries aside obviously.

  6. It’s a stark contrast from the bulls winning what should have been the same kinda win last night, but yet I like both reactions. I’m torn.

  7. We won’t see true happiness from Ben until the Lombardi is hoisted and Caleb says I’m going to Disneyland!

  8. He has higher aspirations than scraping by a regular season win when we could have put it away sooner.

Plenty to work on, but the bounces are going our way; granted on a lot of those bounces, we made our own luck on a lot of them.

    Regardless, Bear Down and FTP

  9. He knows it could’ve gone either way and that it wasn’t an easy win, and this body language reflects it.

  10. Good. Being happy with heart attack wins is why we’ve been stuck in mediocrity for decades. Someone somewhere needs to get pissed off because they give a fuck, because the goal here is to win titles, not barely scrape by against a bunch of teams that are mid at best.
