It sure would be nice to get Mendoza with the 5th pick
Im happy with the trades we made but it just sucks drafting DT, CB and just hoping they’re as good as Q and Sauce.

Unfortunately, in 2026 NFL, if you don’t get the quarterback right… The rest of the draft doesn’t matter much. We had an all pro defensive tackle. We had an all pro cornerback. And even with that… What was our record?
Peter Woods is a top 10 pick and a team will prob trade up into the top 2 for Mendoza

I’d be surprised at this point if Mendoza and Woods last that long but we’ll see. It’s early yet. I think all the other top DTs are essentially run-stuffers so he’s the only one I’d go for in the top 2 rounds. I think we need to draft a WR with one of the top 4 picks. LBs take too damn long to develop. We have pretty good CB depth right now. I’d much rather get an edge and a WR than a CB and an LB.
