NHL Highlights | Stars vs. Canucks – November 20, 2025
And they’re both on the ice to start this one as newest connect David Camp settles in to take this face off on a line with Connor Garland and Brock Besser. And we’re underway in the second meeting of the year between these two teams. Robert Petra to the line. It went off Sherwood and onto the stick of Ritz Kovian who feeds across. Bor is robbed by Lankin it. How about that for a first save of the game. He couldn’t cover the puck though and they score. Maverick Bourke on the other side. A wideopen net after Laninan made a huge save to start, but the Stars have the opening goal in the opening minute. Jamie Ben in his second game of the season after suffering a collapse lung in the preseason. Lena Carlson and he scores. [Applause] Canucks answer back at 306. He’s been heating up lately. And this is a nice play for the Canucks to gather the puck in the neutral zone. And then Carlson realizes he has a man coming with him, but elects to be a shooter. Besser was coming down the other side. And with a defenseman trying to get in the way of that passing lane. Puck ricochets to center. Ranson and has it. Leaves for Wyatt Johnston. Johnson in dishes off and a shot there is handled. Knocked away by back and forth they go. Robertson in sweeps one around to Lindell. Plays the puck to the corner. Hints after it. Broken up by Marcus Patterson but they score. What a shot by Jason Robertson. My goodness is he on a heater as he just snapped that one over the shoulder of Lankin and Robertson has another goal to give Dallas the lead. the stick. 12th of the season for Robertson. It looked like the Conucks had things settled as Sherwood’s going to come and take this puck, but Robertson takes the puck right off him and that patented spin and shoot near side over the glove. Two-1 Dallas game starting to loosen up a little bit. Not exactly how I think the Conucks want this type of game. And he is not shy to shoot the puck. There’s a shot by De Brusk. Rebound and tied up going after it was Atu Ratu. Beck is on to the punt. Oscar Beck reverses course. Still has it. Leaves in the corner. Bour to the blue line now at the right point. It’s Hasten with a wrist shot. Stopped by Len and he stopped the rebound as well. Dallas is certainly quick to pucks in this game. Here’s Cisson drops off for Evander Kane with a shot. Stopped. Big rebound off Jake Hotton. This game sees Dallas in a two-1 lead over the Canucks. We’re just into the second half of the first period. Rock Besser across. Here’s Heronic jumping up. Phil Heronic shoots. Stopped by Otoner. Top didn’t get through. Hughes quickly across. Elias Patterson had it deflect off his tip. Keeps after the puck. Comes back to Garland with room. Slap shot and through traffic. Up back overshoot. Rinse and repeat. They’re they’re moving around. They’re finding the open guy. Here’s Hughes with a shot. Knocked down. Rebound cleared away by Lindell just before Sherwood. Patterson on the far side across for Basser. Hughes takes his pass. Drags to the other side. Patterson side of the net. Stick handles in front. Nebraska the rebound. Sherman as well. Penderson banging away. Scores. [Music] The Stars defense were having trouble in the Cuts, but two black two players right towards the blue paint. Penderson realizes he can get it to the net. They’re just whacking away at it. And as Heisen barrels De Brusk to the ice, Jake De Brusk is able to knock that puck with his stick. A surprised right there. Patterson the first to congratulate Dick De Brusk who just keeps scoring power play goals. And we got a two- two tie. Nico Ranch protecting the puck to the goal line. Gets a return pass. Ranton down low. Robertson hit the post. Might have ticked off Lanken in first. The goal now reads Elias Patterson with his seventh of the season from Jake Drossk and Kefir Sherwood. So Quinn Hughes loses an assist and they’re just announcing the scoring change in the building right now. Stars tried to break up ice but Mackenzie Mckan got his stick on that pass and here’s Cissone to Lenus Carlson across. Heronic shoots and I think he grazed the outside of the post on the glove side of 250 bucks down the drain. And this is the shot from Heronic off the outside of the post. Thought about passing. Kind of double clutch, but he gets the puck back to Patterson. Here’s Hughes down low. Besser back up to Hughes. Fakes the pass to Patterson. Now Besser across to Brusser. They bang away and’s got it. And De Brasa is trying to go five hole. He kind of holds it and then comes around and it’s between the legs of Binger. He swings his back right leg from it going underneath and all the way through. Johnson again. That was just the second shot of the period for the Stars. And Lankin had to be sharp to stop Johnson. Banging again. Johnson side of the net cuts in front. Centers the puck. Ranton and banging away. It’s loose. Lankin trying to hold on to the left pad and I think he did. as Johnson is going to take it towards the net. See if he can’t move it across quickly to Rent and they dig away to get behind for a second from help with Ratu. Did Hughes get his stick in there too? I think just to drag it away. Nine and a half to go in the second. Here’s Garland in on the right wing. Puts one to the middle. Comes all the way across. Besser stopped by Atoner but is able to send it out. Skate onto it himself. Now poke it ahead to Besser. In with Garland Brock Besser. Garland. Poke check by Arter. Then Garland tried to bank one in. Shot from the other side. Oh, what a save by Ager. He robbed Elias Patterson. And the puck goes up ice. Garland that close trying to put it off. Aer’s got to scramble back because of this shot here. Wow. 25-4 to this point in the game. They’ve done an excellent job when they’re backing of sorting things out, diffusing plays, not give up any great scoring chances. And then Person and Garland move back in. Garland having his stick held by He’s going to fans react to that puck center. Patterson great pad save by who was falling down the other way. right in front of the net. Goalender player and as he’s leaning to it. He’s checked by Kent who’s trying to skate the other way but tied up by Hasten and the Stars get the puck back. Blackwell in on the right wing across Foxile stopped by Lincoln. Rebound. Oh, they couldn’t put it home. Robertson was checked by Heronic right here. Robertson doorstep can’t get in near side. Here’s Robertson. Pacing him with room. Robertson looking across. Feeds Hints. Stopped by Lankan. Kevin Lank and another save as Rupe. Hints left fly from about 20 ft. Vander to Hughes. Vander could only poke that puck ahead. But here’s Mckan in. He’s checked. Stars tip the puck the other way. Chance for a break here. Blackwell moving in. Blackwell scores. Colin Blackwell able to get behind the defense. Conucks were on a change, I think. And then Dallas little board play and a nice little spin around pass to Fox. And this goes up over the glove. It looked like Blackwell was going to slide it along the ice and at the last moment elevated that puck over the glove side. That went up in a hurry and the Stars take the lead. Garland’s lost his stick. And here comes Dallas. Twoon one. Ransin with banan. Miko Rantin. Backhander scores. A spinning backhander that he put in off the post and Mo Rantin makes it 42 for Dallas with 91 seconds left. Just creates space for himself. realizes if he spins it’s a forward. He might be able to help himself out backhand and surprises Lankin and and his point streak against the Conucks continues. It’s 11 games now and it’s a twogoal cushion for Dallas. Steel Quinn Hughes wrist shot deflects to Garland. Couldn’t get anything on it. Kicked on goal by Heronic. Stars try to clear. It’s off the brush stick bounces to the crease. Here’s Garland shooting. That was stopped by Otton. Garland finds it. Can’t test the goalender. Hughes for Person able to keep it on side. Leas Patterson tried a shot. Coronic at the side of the goal. Stopped by Auter. Petravic clears the puck around. Hughes can’t keep it in. And now down to 20 seconds remaining as Hughes brings the puck in on the left side. Quinn Hughes centers the breath. off by reaches out and covers the puck. They get it back to Hughes. Garland sends one towards the goal. That’s blocked and the shot for the empty net is wide, but that’s going to do it. [Music]
Mikko Rantanen buried a dazzling spin-o-rama goal, Colin Blackwell scored the game-winning goal and Jake Oettinger made 34 saves to lead the Dallas Stars past the Vancouver Canucks 4-2.

Canucks played really well tonight, they had so many chances, yet Oettinger was just too tough for them.
🌟
absolutely insane goal by Rantanen!! shoutout paddakillz 2🙏
Good game, great tending 👍
Почти первый нах!!!
8:18 Oh my goodness 😮💨
Tonight we got PhenomenOtter
first goal is classic Myers. When will he learn to lift sticks? l guess he didn't want to interfere with any Stars standing in front of the net.
Second goal classic Myers. Maybe Ian Macdonald can give him a few pointers next time. At least on the third goal he was watching from the bench

I wish our team was healthy so we could tank naturally and not just be injured all the time, lol. So many key players out with injury this season. Anyway, what'd you guys have for dinner? I had a baked chicken from the grocery store and mashed potatoes I made at home.
Nice way to start the road trip for the Stars . Amazing they continue to get points being down so many guys .
Once again cant complain about the effort tonight.. Felt they deserved a point but oh well!
ggs to the stars we had are chances on the pp 5 couldn't cash in but overall love the effort from the team onto the next!
Rantanen scored a remarkable goal and barely reacted.
