NHL Highlights | Rangers vs. Avalanche | November 20, 2025

And here we go. It’s the ABS and the Rangers.
McKinnon and JT Miller to start things off. Puck is down. Abs with the draws. McCov slides
it ahead off a Ranger stick. Picked up by New York. Bronzinski is a thick guy. Look like
they were just sort of wrestling for position. Bronzinski went down. That puck stuck away by
Fredwood. Rangers will pick it up. Push to the far side. Score. JT Miller on a designed play
standing at the side of the grace and 7 seconds into the power play. New York has a one- nothing
lead. It’s an oil slick fellas. It goes around the top. Adam Fox is going to get it right up
top here. And as he goes over his advantage, look at that fake slap. That’s a designed
play. Miller puts the feet side by side. So if he doesn’t get it with his stick, he’s going
to angle it with his feet. Not a kicking motion, though. I’m sure Kyle Keem will think that. Pretty
nice play. Hey Johnny, really nice play. And you think about years past, this was the play that
Zavanagad would always make to Chris Krider, who was the man in front of the net on the
Rangers power play. Now JT Miller fired back now for Nelson. Time winding down. Final 10
seconds coming up. Nelson into the high slot. Turns and fires wide to the net. Save by
Sherken on the rebound. Colton right there. Taken by Susu. Fired for Schneider. Gets
it ahead. She is down the wing. Wrist shot. Save Wwood barely got a piece with his
blocker. That was going top corner. They were just a little off on the speed in the in
the yang. And again, the Rangers that pressure still there. Here comes McCar speed. He’ll shoot
save by Ster. So the ABS officially 0 for two. And you can see Susi hassled him all the way in.
Susie shoots. Save. Rebound slam up and out. It’s been two on the power play so far. Rangers one
for one. That’s the difference. Christian Muse, the GM president of the Rangers and of course his
brother Ted Curry is the father to Jack Curry here for the apps. Yep. Ted, long time national
hockey league as well. Some free shot and Sharken barely got a piece of that shot by Nous.
How did he get a hold of it? Set in by Miller up top. One-time save with a rebound and
near was stopped by Shusterkin. That puck Nelson in the gut. Here’s Brock Nelson
chilling with his body to slide. Burns a flip save by Sister Sturken. Bumped off
now for Burns. Flips it. Deflected wide by Kelly. Here’s Landisk. Scoots through. Landisk
fires. Fast save by Sister Sterkin. That got him right in the beak. One remaining in the
field. Wow. Landisk had a lot on that one. Nice push here by the ABS. The captain’s got
great legs tonight. Whoosh. Game 20. I think it’s his best leg I’ve seen him have yet.
Off through Edstrom. Push down by McKinnon, but he couldn’t get it ahead. New York was able
to keep that in. Now McKinnon flashes up ice. Lobs it. Olivesson goes to work. The ABS right now
were playing without Gavin Brinley stuffed into the end glass a little while ago. Lines ball was
a little confusing. Turnaround shot the bucket. Nathan Mcon cleans up at the side of the crease.
It wants to flunk it and he parked himself in the perfect spot. He’s moving on up. He’s got 20.
Think that 15 goals and 34 points. What a read by Nathan McKinnon. I don’t know if Nate just seen
him the far side. I think that’s just a throw on net. goes off the back skate of the Ranger
defenseman. Right to Nathan McKinnon like Wayne Gretzky used to score him. How did he know the
puck was Oh, Eagor Steren. What a save on that redirect down into the ice. That was Olson.
Similar to his goal against the Islanders the other night. Beautiful redirection. Carrick Gaz
in the veteran cut off score. What a redirect by Adam Instrom. his first goal of the season, just
his eighth career National Hockey League goal. And all six foot seven of him turn that plate over to
go top shelf. That pass is a little ahead of her, but when you are that big, you can just reach
out and flick it under the bar. There’s nothing Wedgewood can do. Sam Carrick, this is a really
nice play. Just holding it away from Josh Manson and feathering it out in front of Edstrom, knowing
that he is a big, tall, lanky forward. And Riker, he just reaches out. No mistake. Here comes Taves.
Finds Mar dancing off the iron side of Leoski. He rang it right off the post short side. Miller got
cut down. He lost his stick. The absent up to the point. Macar keeps it in. Miller is bent over at
the waist without his twig. McKenna high slots turns looks McKenna in front. Saved by Sister.
How did he rub Oliv over the pad? Watch the kicker to the right side right there. Wow. And you got
to think that this power play is going to click before too long. McKinnon already with a goal
tonight. Now Mar final 23. Long shot and oh what a save. Chester never saw it. Just deflected off
him. Good body positioning by Manson. Lean set it up. It’s not out. Another turnover but Lean will
finally bring it ahead. McKinnon through center ice. McKinn with speed on Fox. McKinnon finds
Nes. Saved by Shster again. Riker can hang on to that one. Bang on the top of his head. The lead
can make ice and floor. Here comes McKenna. Back in drops it off. Nas trying to get him down on Mau
score. Kale Marle on his feet in a wrapound meet. stuffs it by sister and the abs have tied the
game at 10 to his total. Terrific goal by Mar his seventh and his 26 points. Three on four for the
AS but Mar joins late and who is the man in front Devonte’s got two defenseman down at the goal
lineer in the crease and Marcel’s shot a beautiful wrap around right here. Shurka just can’t get
over. You can see it’s just the toe of Mar’s stick that approaching 30 seconds to go. Oh, Nelson
was tripped up and no call there. Watch out. Twoon one again for the Rangers. Carrick wrist
shot saved by Wedgewood. Paddles it away. Boy, I thought that could have been another penalty
call. Right on the edge. Threeon two. Sorry, Johnny Nelson with a shot. He scores from Nelson.
Able to rip it past the catching gloves inside the post. It’s a power play goal and the ABS have
taken their first lead of the game last three games. He gets chopped down in the offensive zone
but hustles back on the back check and you said it Mo. Three on two and one of the hottest players
on the ABS right now, Brock Nelson. You can see goals now backto back game scored against his old
team. First multi-point game as an A against the Islanders and this guy can absolutely rip the
puck right there. pokes ahead. Threw it right to [ __ ] Abs poke at it. Watch out. Lier shoots
and there’s a save by Wwood. Barely got a piece of the blocker. That’s his best of the night. The
crowd loves it. Wow. Absolut deep. Stepped away by McKinnon trying to find his way through. He’s
got a 211. Here comes the rocking chip on Natur. McKinnon is in and a safe. Now Mars it across
and that was off the boards. McKinnon couldn’t get it. Watch out. Rangers short-handed with drop
check. Save by Wedgewood. He robs Miller on the redirect. Scott Wedgewood absolutely unconscious
going back to this Wedgewood save. The pass by Troche is so good. Feathers it over, but Wedgewood
reads it perfectly. And the push from his left to his right. Full extension. Just that little
floating wrist when Miller is in front. He’s such a good timber of the puck. Rangers win the
draw again. Block down the boards. Panera swung across for Zaben. Troche almost tied up. Long shot
there. Score. Miller got a piece. His second of the game. The power play goal and the Rangers have
tied the game at three. Gets Miller in the middle. And this deflection counts. There’s Troche in the
bumper who they like up to the top of the box and boom. Nobody’s he just steps on that. The way
this deflects, Johnny Wedgewood has zero chance of stopping. Zero chance. You can see much like
Gabe Lannisk does the stick out in front of him and deflects it down. Wedgewood has no chance.
And that’s how the ABS play their penalty kill. A lot of penalty kills, they’ll battle with
that guy in front. Try and knock him away, knock him from being able to tip it cleanly. But
the ABS, they allow the goalie to take that net front unfortunately for either team. And five of
the six have gone to overtime. Here’s Mart. Long shot off the iron from a goal. Score. Nathan Mc
gets it right back. His second goal of the game, 16th of the season. The car rings it off the
post and McKinnon says I’ll clean up in the neutral zone. The patience that the AS show to
break in cleanly and patient before second post of the night. McKinnon picks it up. Skate to
stick. He’s been going to the dirty areas to see if he doesn’t get everything on it, but
Shurkin can’t reach it and he gets enough to move it past. You can see when Nathan McKinnon
celebrates he took that one in the face heading off the ice for a change. checking his mouth.
Stolen by Talo shot save rebound. Oh goodness gracious got definition. No penalty call. He’s
going to be heading to the bench any moment. Jab into the Avalanch zone. Try to give it
across. ABS make the steal. Fired by Mar and he scores. Jar his second goal of the night.
An empty net that goal and that will do it. The Aztec 53 lead over the New York Rangers knew
the situation. You can see Savannah trying to go back to Panera and Drury. The perfect position
harder round up and out of the final 16 seconds of this game. Center ice court fires into
the free fors. The ABS will double up New York. They take a 63 lead. Just doing a great
great job. And he gets a little little tick, a little treat here, Mo, for playing the game
the right way. Good job, Rosco. Barry Johnson’s first win as a hockey fan. It’s amazing.
Two to go, one to go, and that will do it. The Conwell Avalanche doubled
up the Rangers by a final of 63.
