NFL QB DRAMA: Vikings DONE w/ J.J. McCarthy, Eagles TIRED of Jalen Hurts | THE HERD w/ Colin Cowherd

I love good journalism. I know because I am on for three hours a day and I’m not in arenas and locker rooms. Uh I need sources. Uh but I depend greatly on really smart journalists and reporters and we try to give them all credit. Uh I I think it’s very interesting. So Derek Gun has been covering the Eagles for years and he started talking on the Seth Joiner I I guess it was show or podcast um about the staff getting frustrated in Philly with Jaylen Hurst. He said, “I’m basically telling you there’s a there’s people in that organization that are frustrated with the quarterback situation right now, and I want you to listen to a guy that covers the Eagles and has for years, Derek Gun. Those things are dissected on film during practice. Those things are talked about among the quarterback coach, the offensive coordinator, the head coach. It has been constantly discussed all season long. Yet, when they transition to a field or a football game, he plays his game, not the game the coaches want him to play. You look at a lot of quarterbacks, they’re going to sling it. They’re going to try to throw it through an eye of a needle. Sometimes you just have to take that chance. That’s not his game. That’s why he stands back there a lot of time. He’s patting the ball. Patting the ball. And it throws the timing of the offense off. The rhythm is thrown off. I don’t think at this point they can they can’t get him out of it. They can’t get him out of it. So why do I believe Derek Gunn Why do I believe Derek Gun’s not spitballing? Because this is exactly what I told you after what I heard this summer. I said it in July or August that I was told that he wasn’t Herz wasn’t that popular with coaches or the locker room. He’s not a go he’s not a raw let’s go out and get beers guy. He’s very much his own man, his own beat. I respect the hell out of him. High IQ, high EQ, great leadership. Uh, tough as a cheap steak. The kid is I like him. I don’t think he’s great from the pocket, but I heard from somebody very close. It is a impenetrable source, one of my best. And he’s like, you’re not that popular. And it it’s not Russell Wilson Seahawks bad. It’s not that. I’m not saying that. But there is a sense by some of the people that he’s a little a little cliched, a little too polished. Um, here are some of the things he has said when he goes to a podium in and around the area in Philadelphia. You either win or you lose or you either uh you either win or you learn. That’s how I feel. You either win or you learn. Money is nice. Championships are better. And you go through the course of these things and you learn that success isn’t built off of approval. It’s built off of endurance. It’s built off of strength. I know I didn’t walk through that walk through that fire just to smell a smoke. So, you going to finish it off like that. Thanks. You know, listen, you could say he’s just being philosophical. Well, never forget Socrates was not popular in his locker room either. People don’t want Socrates or Aristotle. They want a guy. Brady’s pounding beers in the off season with a slot receiver from Lehi. You know, I mean, Momes, Payton Manning, they’re one of the guys. Jaylen’s not really, I’ve been told, one of the guys, but I’ll defend him because he wins. He’s tough. Um, Philadelphia is a loud, loud city. Talk radio’s huge. Columnists are aggressive. I mean, they’ve got their security guard. Sirani’s animated. It’s not an easy town to win. It’s as tough a job. I mean, Bill Parcels told Andy Reid when he took that job, it is the toughest place to coach in the league. So, I think his personality works in Philadelphia. I think Jaylen, Dak Prescott, a Jaylen, a Justin Herbert, those kind of guys would work in Philadelphia because they kind of diffuse heat and noise, but he is I was told this summer um you know, he’s he’s not that popular. I’m not saying quarterbacks have to be, but it really does help if you’re a unifier. So, and the other thing is he’s going to average he’s on track to have under 200 yards passing per game this year in an offensive league with a great O line with an offensive head coach and two great receivers. So, again, he’s winning. That cures everything and he’s winning big, but Philadelphia got rid of Carson Wentz, you know. I mean, Philadelphia and he was going to be an MVP that year. So, Philadelphia does things that bad teams do. They just do it well. They make a lot of moves with coaches. They make a lot of moves with players and I all I’m saying is there is a story today. Derek Gun, long time Eagle reporter is saying essentially what I was told this summer. He had more information than I did, but I was told that her Herz isn’t one of the guys. He’s a little slick, probably more mature than the average young professional athlete, but it it’s I don’t think it’s a a fire. I don’t think it’s noise, but it’s actual journalism. It’s actual story. Remember, local reporters would rather not get pushed back in hate mail. Most local reporters don’t have the courage to print really unpleasant news. Much easier for me to do it. I don’t live in Philly. So, I mean, Derek Gun doesn’t wake up thinking, “Hey, I got bad news for you.” Because then Derek has to go back into that locker room and Dererick’s got to go interview that coach. So, when I was in local markets, I I remember being outspoken and sometimes viewed as negative and I was just like, “Oh, that’s It’s my job. I don’t care if I I’ll go face the the heat in the locker room, but I’m not going to lie. So, I I I appreciate anytime a local reporter can deliver really unpleasant news. I think it’s hard, much harder than it is for me here sitting, you know, thousands of miles away. I have a lot on this topic. I just want to share this. Uh Diana Rousini on her podcast dropped this. So, we all know JJ McCarthy is struggling. He’s got the lowest passer rating in the NFL for a starting quarterback, like by a lot. He’s last in completion percentage, TD interception ratio, passer rating among 33 qualified quarterbacks. No reason to bury the kid, but he’s not great at all. But she said, there’s an interesting line here, but more than that, it’s the vibes around him all season have been weird. from how he was really doing in camp. It was like they were hiding or suppressing information to the fact that Carson Wentz we discovered was actually trying to play through a torn labroom before finally going on IR and then suddenly JJ McCarthy was healthy enough to play once again. It does feel weird. And now I’ve said play him until the end of the season. I there’s no reason to not play him, but this does this does Diana Rousini’s opinion here does validate and double down on a truth. If he was a cornerback, a wide receiver, a weak side linebacker, or a safety, I wouldn’t care as much about his slow start. I would be willing to be more patient. But the reason I’m so brutal on Johnny Manzel or Baker Mayfield or Cam Newton or a JJ McCarthy is quarterback is the one position that everybody relies on, including the coach, to eat. In the NBA over my lifetime, it’s become almost almost positionless. I mean, what is LeBron? Whatever they need that night, shooter, distributor, three, four. But even parents with their children will name a specific child to be executive of the will. They feel he or she’s better with money, assets, and responsibility. Even a parent has a hierarchy in the will for their own kids. And that’s the reality of pro football. College, too, but more pro football. Quarterbacks have to be more mature, faster. And the weird thing doesn’t play. And for the record, Caleb Williams, Bo Nicks, Drake May are durable. And nobody wants to hear this, and it sounds unfair, but JJ McCarthy could have 27 starts already, and he’s got five. So, one of the reasons people worried about Penn, uh-oh, he’s hurt again. and Jaden Daniels. The number one concern was durability. He’s hurt again. So, some of this is if JJ was coming in and lighting the world on fire, you could stomach the durability issues, but it’s the weird stuff. The durability, he’s struggling. And it’s unfair, but quarterback’s different. Maturity matters. Starting quickly matters, durability matters. It just all matters more. Right. I I I don’t mind if I got a little flaky outside linebacker, corner, got a little ego. Can’t have a quarterback like that. Just can’t. It’s unfair. But it’s true. Josh, you’re selling me on this. Your your latest quick trip experience went down to Athens, Georgia. So, the drive if you go Nashville to Athens is going to take you past several quick trips. So, I like to drive at night. I don’t know how you travel when you do it, but I like to travel at night if I’m going to drive. And there is I can I can consume caffeine now and go to sleep. So, I’m totally immunized from it. But it does help when I’m driving. So, I am the psychopath who I’m going to stop there for gas. Yes. I’m going to go in there, though. And that quick trip like cold brew on tap, that entire station, that is a lifesaver. Maybe literally a lifesaver for me with how late at night I drive. So, it’s been good, man. It’s It’s been a real good partnership, too. Like if you if you love college football and you like to patronize brands that love college football, dude, they’ve stepped up in a big way for us and they’ve just like seamlessly infused themselves into our show. They’re really good with giving back to our audience. So Quick Trip, huge salute to them. Well, it’s entering week 12. Gets windy, gets cold. The weather does play a factor this point forward. So it is time for me to uh pivot to my alter ego. Sky Banister, handsome weatherman, hair made of wood. Here we go. J-Mack, give me the game. I’ll give you the weather forecast for that team. Okay, Sky Banister, what’s the forecast for the Buffalo Bills this season? Looks like unseasonably warm weather ahead for the Bills. No Buffalo temperatures. Why? They only play one opponent that ranks top half of the league in rushing. That is their Achilles heel. I don’t see any Buffalo temperatures. They’re heating up down the stretch. Buffalo getting hot. What’s the forecast like for the Steelers this season? Uh stormy flash floods or they have flash in the pan. Why? Aaron Rodgers is banged up and the next three games are at the Bears, Bills, and Ravens. It is a really bad time for Aaron Rodgers to not be at 100%. All right, Storm. What’s the forecast like for the Ravens this season? Clear skies, mild weather ahead in Maryland. Why? Birds are flying north to their playoff paradise. Three of their remaining games, Bengals twice and the Jets. Next three games are all at home. I see clear sailing. I see winning streaks despite Lamar missing practice yesterday. What’s the forecast like for the struggling Kansas City Chiefs this season? Uh not stormy or clear. It’s it’s partly cloudy. So they are playing some home games coming up. They’ve been good there. But the season really comes down to this week on the road against the Colts off a buy. So it could be really those clouds could move out of the way if they beat Indie. But I think their season comes down to Sunday on the road or I think they’re at home. Excuse me. They’re at home. Daniel Jones off a buy with Shane Stiken. A healthy Colts roster. All right. What’s the forecast like for the Denver Broncos this season? Clear skies, baby. They got their playoff picnic basket already made and set up. Listen, week 17 Chiefs is the tough one, but they’ve won the last two against Kansas City. Uh 12-2 the last couple of years at home. This is a team that’s got a lot of home games coming up. Bo Knicks I I thought was less frenetic against Kansas City than he was in previous weeks. I like what I see going forward. They’ll retain that number one seed. All right. What’s the forecast like for the LA Chargers this season? Stormy, where there’s lightning, there’s always thunder. They have backups everywhere in the O line. And they’re going to face some of the best pass rushing teams over the next seven games. Chiefs, Texans, Eagles, Broncos. What they struggle with is what they are facing over the next seven games. Uh what’s the forecast like for the Philadelphia Eagles this season? Well, as the show says, it’s always sunny in Philadelphia. Um, here’s the advantage. Week 13, they face the Bears, but under Serriani, they’re 11-0 against the NFC North. Their toughest game is week 17 at the Bills. By that time, Lane Johnson could be healthy. Should be healthy. So, it kind of works in their favor. A couple of tough games, but they match up well. What’s the forecast like for the Detroit Lions this season? Well, Detroit season uh isn’t black and white. It’s a lot of gray. It’s partly cloudy. Here’s what I worry about with the Detroit Lions going forward at the Rams at the Bears. But six of their seven remaining games are indoors. You know who loves indoor football? One Jared Golf. So, it is there’s some clouds there. at LA, at Chicago, Green Bay, lot of indoor games benefits this quarterback. What’s the forecast like for Micah and the Packers this season? All right, not to sound cheesy, but it doesn’t look good. I don’t know. I don’t know. Green Bay, um, three of the last four games are on the road. four their last five games are in cold weather environments and they can’t run the football. I don’t mind if you’re playing in cold Chicago, you got to be able Philadelphia, you got to be able to run the ball efficiently when you’re playing in cold weather. Green Bay can’t. That means relying on down the field throws. It does not look good. All right, we saved the worst for last. What’s the forecast like for the Chicago Bears this season? I will acknowledge a little stormy. Chicago faces hazardous winds ahead that could blow their playoff chances away. Three truck they got three tough roadies at Philly at Green Bay at Niners. No easy games. Even the should win games like Pittsburgh are tough. They got to pay play the Packers twice. Eagles, ners, Lions. So, never forget, always keep it here for all your weather updates with long-term awardwinning meteorologist Sky Bannister. I like that GA line a lot. Sky B that Gouda line’s really strong. Um, Sky Banister, huh? Yeah. I mean, listen, I think the Steelers, the Chargers, and the Bears got stormy weather ahead. The one thing I will say, the Steelers and the Chargers are not running the football. Well, the Bears are. That is a huge advantage in lousy way. That’s what worries me a little bit about Green Bay is that, you know, weather goes sideways. You go look Baltimore, bad weather territory. Another problem with Kansas City, if they don’t beat Indianapolis, they’re not running the football. So, I mean, Xavier Worthy, he’s going to become much less uh profound in December and January. He’s already catching like three passes a game tops. I mean, yeah. Can I ask you about the Chiefs real quick, Colin? So, interesting. You have partly cloudy. I I just want to frame this. So, the Texans play tonight. The Chiefs are battling them for a playoff spot. Yeah. Like legitimately, they’re scoreboard watching. They’re not used to that. And then the Jags play Arizona. Like, they got to the Chiefs have to monitor that. And I I can’t get over the fact that off a by-week they laid an egg largely against the Broncos. That is the Do you think they were game planning at all at the same time for the Colts or was it like, “Hey, we got to beat the Broncos.” No, no, no. I I think there’s a couple of things that are very true. Chris Jones is not the player he was a year and a half ago. He is not. And when he’s not, you know, Aaron Donald was getting double and triple teamed at the very last game as a Ram. Chris Jones is not as dominant. Well, when you take out like when you take out, you know, Bosa gets hurt for the NerS, you know, they wouldn’t have a pass rush, right? Like if Khalil Mack tomorrow got hurt for the Chargers, there goes a big chunk of their pass rush. There’s a reason these guys on the outside, the Miles Garretts, the Max Crosby’s, the Trey Hendrickson, they’re worth so much. You can’t duplicate them. It’s much easier in the draft to find a running back or a wide receiver or an interior lineman. um quarterbacks, left tackles, and edge rushers or interior defensive linemen. I mean, Jaylen Carter had a lot of baggage and Philly’s like, “No problem.” Why? Just the body composition. They’re just not many guys that are 340 with good feet. So, Chris Jones for about a 5-year period was unblockable and they could move him all over. They could put him on the edge. They could put him inside. You couldn’t block him. You had to double him. He’s not the same player. Yeah. And now he’ll have bursts. Same with Travis Kelce. Travis Kelce has games, but it does feel like he plays well when he has to. He’s not consistent. So, I think part of this for Kansas City is they don’t run the ball well, and they don’t intimidate you and alter your game plan up front. And it’s it’s the reality of Chris Jones. Great player, very good player. Last year, next year is the last year with guaranteed money. You probably got to rip the band-aid off. But uh remember uh Lou Amaruno, the defensive coordinator for the Colts, was with the Bengals for many years. He’s the one who schemed up that defense at Arrowhead to beat uh Mahomes in the playoffs. Remember the game, I think it went overtime. Uh Mahomes threw the interception and the Bengals were right there with him in another playoff game. So there’s a world where he plays a lot of zone, mixes up the blitzes, and Mahomes has not been good under pressure, Colin, at all this season, especially the high leverage games. And then you factor in the the Chief’s inability to stop the run. You know, the Bills had a hundred yard rusher against him. Cook went nuts. If they can’t stop the run, Jonathan Taylor and that offensive line, I think Kansas City’s in trouble here. I’m I’m not going all in. I don’t I don’t know if it’s in headlines yet, but this is like a one of the bigger games of the season. Yeah, there there’s a you know, the NFL has the ability to create great games out of games that don’t appear to be interesting matchups. Steelers, Bears could be very interesting. New England at Cincinnati. Joe Burrow was at practice today. That could get very interesting. Uh Jacksonville, which nobody trusts on the road, goes to Arizona. You know, if if Denver, if Kansas City can beat the Colts and Jacksonville win, it’s a big and you know, Houston’s going to lose tonight. And the Colts are underdogs to Kansas City. That is a huge game in the history of the Jaguars franchise to go to Arizona and win. But they’re a dysfunctional weird franchise that you don’t trust in big spots. Um I also and you know they’re keep your eye on Dallas hosting Philadelphia. Yeah, that’s obviously that is a really interesting game for me. Yeah, Colin. So the 4pm slate on paper doesn’t look good. Jacksonville, Arizona. Eh, but then you’ve got Shador starting for the Browns, which is fascinating. And I’m gonna I’m gonna be honest. I got some friends in Atlanta and they’re worried about the Saints Falcons game. I know nobody cares, but it’s not just the game. Raheem Morris could be in some trouble if this season totally flops. Remember, they didn’t want to trade Kirk Cousins. They could have tried to ship him to somebody. Colin, it’s not looking good for the Falcons at all in that coaching staff. Uh Jay Mack with the news. No, no, no. Turn on the news. This is the herd line news. We got an animated cow herd today. I like it. Spicy. Let’s get started with Caleb Williams and your Chicago Bears, Colin. They are the most unlikely division leader at this point in the season. Remember, negative -6 point differential. Here’s Caleb Williams talking about the team’s mindset going into the final stretch of the season. And this is speaking on quarterback terms. You know, I don’t know if you can go 25 for 25. Um, but I do know that you can go one for one. Um, you know, each and every single time 25 times. Um, and so, uh, just focusing on where we’re at, um, and focusing on being one and one. Um and and that’s that’s me saying 100% but that’s one and0 this week. Um and and you know we focus on that. We go one and0 each week. You know we’ll be exactly where we want to be. Boy living in the moment. I like that. Everybody sounding like Russell Wilson these days, huh? You can’t look at all those one one at a time. One one brick at a time. Right. Huh. Interesting. Colin, you’re you’re really loving these Bears team. Let’s just I don’t know if we can call the schedule up, but they better beat Pittsburgh this weekend. And if they do, they’re eight and three. Now, come on. That that ain’t that does not lock up anything because they’re losing a Philly. I’m not saying lock up, but if a team is eight and three in the National Football League, that’s a good team. Oh, heck yeah. That’s a major improvement. Ben Johnson’s a win. But again, the schedule, they’re losing to Philly, probably losing at Green Bay, probably losing in Green Bay again. San Fran and Detroit. I I mean, if they finish nine and eight and miss the playoffs, it’s still a successful season. No, not not if they beat Pittsburgh this weekend to go eight and three. If they beat Pittsburgh this weekend, I think they will. They’re a double-digit win team. Okay, fine. Fine. Give me the other Okay, with the Pittsburgh win, give me the other two wins. Browns has won at home. We’ll give you the Browns. Browns at home and Green Bay at home. Okay, I I’m sorry. I’ve watched Green Bay lose to Carolina at home at Lambo and Cleveland. I I’m not blown away by Green Bay. Fairly certain Green Bay’s won like 15 of 16 from the Bears. I I’ve got to double check my math on that one. But uh just don’t just temper expectations. The playoffs are not a lock. Uh all right, let’s go to a team in dire straits, Colin. The Kansas City Chiefs. Boy, people at this network are really nervous because you know what? If they lose to the Colts this weekend, it’s starting to feel like no playoffs this year. You know, like I called. Anyways, um here’s Patrick Mahomes talking about the Chiefs offense, which stinks out loud right now. I’m just not making the throws is pretty much the biggest thing. Guys are getting open and give me chances to make the the plays down the field. I ask I give them chances to make um plays. What happened to Xavier Worthy and Jerry Rice? I’m sorry, Rashi Rice. Why? Why? Here’s my thing. Two, three days ago, I said part of the reason they’re losing is Mahomes. Everybody’s like, whoa. Patrick Mahomes comes out and says one of the reasons we’re losing is me. it. There’s no question about it is right now on the road he has been a C quarterback. He has not played well on the road. He’s been pretty good at home and that’s okay. There’s it’s easier to play at home than it is on the road. I’m not saying Patrick’s alone on that, but Patrick the last two years when you get him away from Arrowhead and this year specifically, he’s not a very good quarterback. He’s really been average. Josh Allen is Superman regardless where you put him. Uh Patrick has struggled away from Arrowhead this year. So last year they basically luck boxed their way in all these one-sore games to 11 and0. Couple of those go the other way and it’s like oh maybe the Chiefs aren’t amazing. So now it’s all falling apart and Colin the tackle issue is real. Okay. Jawan Taylor grades out as the 69th of 76 tackles. He has the most penalties of any right tackle in the league. Josh Simmons. Yeah. That’s their number one issue in the draft is getting a right tackle. They might need a left, too. Yeah. I mean, Josh Simmons kind of vanished for a little while, had a personal issue. He came back, he was not outstanding. I’m just, you know, the Colts, I don’t know if they can get after the quarterback enough, but I’ll just say this. Um, between their defensive coordinator and their offensive mind, they had an entire off week to prepare for this game. I just need Chiefs fans to be ready. There’s a world where the Colts come in there and then there’s win just outright 2420, 2120. I would not be surprised if Indie won this game. Uh, this is a stayaway game for me. It’s a stayaway game. I think Indie off a buy is gonna What’s interesting to me about this game is I think we’re going to get a bit of a shootout because the Colts with that O line and that run game off a buy are going to score and I think Kansas City against that Colts back end. I’m I’m interested to see S Gardner now has been in the system for a few weeks. I’m interested to see what S does with the Colts. This game’s a really interesting game. So, uh, a lot of zone from the Colts, uh, which could make S very dangerous. Long arms, good instincts. I just be careful Chiefs fans. Final story is uh not great from the New York Giants. Abdul Carter. This was this kind of flew under the radar. Colin, he was benched early against the Packers and reports surfaced that he basically was in a recovery session instead of being in a team meeting. There was another report that he was asleep and and and missed a walkth through. Abdul Carter finally talked about it. The number one pick out of Penn State. I feel like it’s not how you start, it’s how you finish. So, I’m going to finish strong. This is on the heels of Dan Campbell, the Lions coach, saying uh he he’s sensing a fresh energy from uh Giants interim coach Mike Kfka. Obviously, Lions are big favorites. Colin, I do want to add one of the reports said Brian Dable, this was happening with Abdul Carter earlier this year, and Dable was just like, “Okay, fine. Get better.” But he didn’t bench him. Dable trying to keep his job. So, Kfka comes in. I’m ruling with an iron fist. You’re not you’re not doing this on my watch. Well, and uh uh the knock on CFKA was that he was pro player, doesn’t have a ton of presence. So maybe this is Kfka showing people upstairs. This is Mike CFA saying, “Hey, if I’m named coach, none of this nonsense is going to work.” So I I do think when you’re an interim coach, let’s be honest, you’re the substitute teacher trying to impress the principal. You want to make sure the students tell the principal in the in the lunchroom, man. We we like Mr. Brady’s really really good, this is Mike Kfka knowing, hearing his weakness is he he’s not really a uh burst through the door, hold player accountable, doesn’t have a verbal Shawn Payeyton presence, and maybe he’s trying to show a little of that to the guys upstairs, the owner and Joe Shane. And at the same time, I’m gonna give Dable a pass for not penching him because Dable’s fighting for his job and we all have done crazy stuff to fight for our job. Like Dable wants to stay employed. I’m just going to go on record. I I think Brian Dable’s going to be a head coach in the NFL next season. So do I. And by the way, I think Robert Salah for the Niners is I think I think Salah and Dable are both getting an shot. Yeah. Or Dable could go to college if he wants. There are colleges interested in him, by the

  1. This guy in the pink does know the packers were almost swept last year by the bears right, just a blocked kick away from doing so. I'd also say overall, last years packers team was better than this years team.

  2. I remember reading the same things about Russell Wilson in Seattle, every new offensive coordinator would come in and try to change and evolve the offense and Russell would object to it, veto it, undermine it through leaks, etc until the coaching staff went back to the old offense because he was comfortable in it, and it made him look good

  3. Why is everyone so hung up on the Bears -6 point differential. I get that most people are just box score watchers but still. The Bears lost to the Lions by 31 points, that’s going to severely mess with the differential. Plus the defense has been incredibly banged up since week 1. It’s not the gotcha people think it is

  4. Die hard Eagles here, NO PROBLEM with Hurts….dude does it all…..does he hang onto the ball a little longer than ideal sometimes, sure, but he makes all the right decisions, doesn't turn the ball over and has the best deep ball in the league ….rack it up

  5. Can somebody explain to me how the Vikings were under the impression that JJ McCarthy was going to come in and be their savior the first year or even two. Most of these young quarterbacks don’t really flourish for four or five years, Mahomes is a unicorn.

  6. Colin will tell you any chance he gets that QBs get til Thanksgiving of their second year starting. Except when he arbitrarily decides to change that number. This show is such a joke the more you watch it.

  7. Viks haven’t given up on JJ and would be dumb to do so. Kid is young with a good arm. They have to give him a full season but if he is hurt again before season end, then you might have a problem

  8. You cant compare most local news with Philly news or Philly journalists. They live for the drama and love it when the Eagles suck. They love shitting on the Eagles. So do not trust anyone in local news or journalism in Philly.

  9. Without the RPO hurts is an average QB. Only way to be elite is to run the RPO. He can't read defenses and your looking at the Jalen Hurts offense. They do what he likes. Period! He can't do nothing else. He can't call audibles or change the play because HE CANT. His arm is not that great. Every pass floats. Have you ever seen him throw a "laser" or "rocket" because he can't. He can't anticipate throws or squeeze the ball in tight windows. It's just a FACT. unless he is running the RPO he is basic. Thank God for the defense!

  10. I get hate when I say this but I don't think the office was too happy when JJ informed them he was having his first child.
Bonehead move to take on having your first kid at 22 when being handed the keys to the franchise. Whether it was a fake injury or not to sit him immediately after.
JJ put it on himself and probably tanked his career. For the people that don't think it has any affect, look at the home games he has played recently.

  11. Derick Gunn hasnt been in the 🦅🦅🦅 locker room since he got cut from Comcast Sports. He aunt getting un their working for the Athletic. Hes not even seen at the Linc so please about the upset Derek Gunn trying to get his name ti mesn something
